Mkt hasn't closed.... so let's not conclude too early.
Anyway, I was thinking abt the psychological impact of all the bad news, mkt indices crashes etc. There's frankly, no pt fretting abt the mkts at this stage. I know there's a lot of emotional pain, monetary pain etc, but, seriously, we're probably far closer to the end of the mkt crash rather than nearer another major route. What's another STI 200pts down??? Risk vs reward for shorting now is very much more elevated.
So, might as well remain sidelines, or at the most short a bit but remember to take profits fast. Let the mkt take its course, then go in long when it tells us to. Opportunities are all around if we choose to open our eyes to it.
Mkts always have a funny way of going the exact direction we were hoping to see just when we all give up. That's a hint. ;-)
Dow plunged -53pts after good early rally... this is bad news! ...

This proverb applicable to many areas. Parents always teach their children to be benvolence. But yet u still see n hear fighting, killing etc. Those r d exceptsional, no 100% perfect ones. D one u mentioned is under this cat.
Donation to charity is another one related to d proverb. Render assistance to accident casualty is another form of saving life.

I agree with you but sometimes it may give unintended problem. For eg in the Legend of the Condor Heroes, Yang Tiexin's wife saved the injured Jin nobleman Wanyan Honglie who brought her and her family a lot of misery bcos this Wangye was smitten by her and to get her, he planned to get rid of her husband Yang Tiexin. Even after 18 years the misery did not disappear.

Yoh, the NTU's case, murder n suicide, no count. Difficult to spot those potential suicide candidates. They keep d problems at heart. More pityful, they bring along their children.
