Hi,
This company has a high beta, therefore it's pretty much affected by the market. Macro factors you look at the environment and location of where STX mainly operates in. So that means locations like Europe and probably Brazil etc. So events occurring in those regions would have greater impact than a small localized issue like Malaysia Election? And of course you got always factor in events in big economies such as US, Europe, China and Japan. In the case of North Korea, if a war occur, it depends on the severity of the conflict, and probably a panic sell-off for a day or 2? But as long as global economic recovery stays on course, then its status quo.

Company specific info like financial and outlook can be gotten from the company annual report which is lodged with SGX. Opinion of company can get from house call.
Macro economy like wars and bird flu will have impact on share market, usually negative. But outcome on individual is different depending on your investment strategy.

If we look at macro factors, will this stock be affected by North Korea tension and Malaysia election?

I think Vard's strength in AHTS vessels that can operate in harsh environments bodes well for them when the arctic trade route starts becoming more accessible...my 2 cts worth.
anyway will be gg down to the AGM on 23rd to check out the new management..would be interesting. I'm oso guessing the BBs are mandated to wait for the AGM to pass before they can start investing in Vard
