how much do you think the coe will be for the bicycle. in expect that the govt will built bicycle lane for the cyclists or there will be  more and more road accidents
It is up to the entrepreneur then to promote amd popularise a 'bicycle culture'.
That should be a practical mode of transport for a tiny island like this...

Low income commuters are really stuck. MRT keep breaking down, cars too expensive, buses infrequent ... jia lat liao.
I think we should all start cycling.
I should think if funds are diverted to improve transport service standard
to the public rather than rather than soley generating maximum profits,
that would itself affect profit margin and hence weaken the stock.
But next week's price movements will be telling...

Lets just hope its not Sabotage! Else the whole nation will change.
The third power rail - power shoe for a few train could not have broke  just like that. It was build  like a RAIL.
Malayan Railway rail had served the trains from steam engine to KTM diesel engine for a century and its still there!

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has ordered a public inquiry, after trains on the North-South Line broke down on Saturday morning - the third MRT disruption in four days.
What will happen to the CEO??? Very similar to the Mas Selamat case. Is the issue serious or not serious. We shall see..........

With MRT failing on Friday and Saturday, will the share price drop on Monday?
With these incidents, money would probably be spent on checking, compensating, maintenance, repairing etc.
f*** *** spider up bus fares without better timings and bus frequencies.
10 years ago I used to take trains and buses enjoying the comfort and prompt timings.

Now I take cab, cycle or walk.
I AM NOT GOING TO LET THEM EARN A SINGLE F*** *** CENT!
Someone's head will surely roll for this debacle.
why is this bugger going up?????????????
can somebody short the living daylights out of this ???
Look at SBS services, so much oragnize, unlike SMRT, it oni tell us they are chasing profit, after profit.

On a serious note, the present train carriages must be modified so that some
of the glass windows can be manually wound down during emergency.
It is no joke being trapped in a train undergound with the doors inoperable when the
standby battery goes flat after a short while. Then will be darkness and no oxygen!.
A great fear of being punished will make people afraid of hitting the glass windows
even to save their own lives...

All the the poor affected commuters must also be compensated heavily
for the inconvenience and bad effects on health (breath suffocation) ...
and perhaps even loss of dignity (tunnel-walking, sardine squeezing, etc) ...

Singapore Most Ridiculous Transport (SMRT) broke down again! haha don't miss your chance in breaking their window. =D
  http://gimyuen.blogspot.com/2011/12/smrt-singapore-most-ridiculous.html
It is obvious that there's something seriously wrong somewhere...
Can this be merely a natural symptom of some unacknowledged situation?
It's sad that this has to happen...

another one breakdown this morning  on the North-South line between Marina Bay and Newton were disrupted this morning since 7am, this comes just two days after a major glitch affected 127,000 passengers during rush hour on Thursday evening.
before the big heads roll, the smaller heads always get to fall first ....
sometimes it is quite possible for disgruntled unhappy technicians or engineers to sabotage the  train service as they know the in-and-out of the technicality....OR
due to overloaded work pressure (more frequency less manpower lesser checks) ...
