Hi Anthony,
Managed to trace Oei's last purchase around mid-July 2005. His holdings was held via Chip Lian Investment (now renamed to Oei Hong Leong Foundation), increasing from 10.13% to 12.03% via open market purchase. The price range then was between 15c to 18.5c. I could not trace the price of his earlier 10.13% but reckon it could have cost more as IPC had traded to a high of $2 at one stage before share consoldiation of 4 to 1 in Dec 2004 following the internet bubble bust. The bottomline is this - at 22c today it's still a steal vis-a-vis its NTA of 27c & with Oei as a substantial shareholder (my personal opinion).

tuntan8888 - any idea Oei Hong Leong paid per share. Must be very very cheap.Add up to his billion again.Good luck
Within just 2 days, hit new high 22c (up from 17.5c), on 30+ million shares traded. Is it Oei Hong Leong buying, after disposing Supermix Coffee at a substantial profit. Still value at this price (22c).
IPC is a super laggard. Though it lost about 3m in FY06 (due to lower sales of properties in Zuhai, China), IPC is on the lookout for new ventures to enhance shareholders' value - yet to be announced. NTA = 27.07c, trading at substantial discounts @ 17.5c (3 Jul close). Moreover, IPC is owned 12.02 % by Oei Hong Leong. This guy got midas touch. A very safe bet!
