Dow are just a handful of 30 stocks, S&P will be a more accurate index to judge turnaround. Now S&P is 793. Will pull back to 750 to 730 in a weeks time or so. If by then it's not bounding, then we will see lower lows! That time god bless!

Main bks leading d fall, hindering DJ earlier rises.
D Q4 GDP shed 6.3%. Corporate profits plunge .
US workers on jobless benefits at record 5.56m early Mar. And rose another 652k fr week till 21 Mar.
Not optimistic that DJ will surge ax 8000 over ds week liao, unless there are other +ve news fr White Hse.
Most of STI stocks had enjoyed d straight 7 days rally, esp d bank counters. May see noticeable profit taking 2morrow, if DJ tonite perform badly. Hope for d best liao.

US investors brush off gloomy data

US stocks were set to rise on Thursday after signs that the economy is continuing to deteriorate failed to knock investors’ confidence amid a host of better-than-expected company results.
Figures showed that GDP fell 6.3 per cent for the last three months of last year, a steeper decline than seen in the previous quarter, but a revision to initial estimates of a 6.5 per cent drop.
if dow goes above 8,000 he/she [persistent bear] may quietly keep quiet.
Do you think the DOW will go above 8000 tonite?
