Should not use the average statistics of 10% as shorting is not evenly distributed. Some counters experience heavier, some light and some none shorting at all.

I also hope buyers would come back. But Philippine Peso continue to drop. Fund exit Asia continuously.
I read from my friend's blog

Still lau..... everyday see this also makes a person pessimistic. Don't get used to the drop......

Singapore financial markets, stock markets and the economy could be facing challenges when more and more business realize that Myanmar is a virgin ground. As more and more flock there, a vacuum will be left in tiny Singapore. Hope our gov is not that stupid enough not to do nothing to boost the stock markets and businesses here.. If big shorting continues to depress the stock markets, it would turn out to be a serious problem for all in the not too distant future. I am giving this warning to all concerned. Play well and everybody sleep well. Wahahaha!!

Seems like u have no idea who is selling ..... n whos been buying when market made new high.....valuation may not look expensive but its not cheap.....why should we sell and buy back?....

Yesterday volume was the lowest since 16 May 2013 and the value is less than 2 billion which indicates the selling is coming to an end. 3200 was suppose to be a psychological support with 3100 a strong support. Most of the drops are Index stocks. Buying back soon.
S’pore shares are expected to be put on holding mode despite the technical rebound on Wall Street in a volatile session as investors are likely to keep to the sidelines ahead of the key jobs report out this Friday. The rally in US stocks came as the greenback fell against the euro and yen after the ECB held interest rates steady and ECB President Mario Draghi laid to rest hopes of any further monetary stimulus in the near term.
