just tired out handling family stuff lah. haven't had much time to watch market recently, to be honest. just swallowed up in work and stuff.

in any case, market appears to be topping out. divergence between index and pennies cheonging already. like before the feb crash, remember?

fortunegal, yes. according to the sales personnel (at the point of my purchase back then), one should call 1633.. like how one call up the bank to "waive" off the annual fees for their credit cards by "saying" i want to terminate the cards, then the officer will ask you why rite?? something similar ba..

PS: dun know starhub personnel got saw this post or not then they change their "marketing strategy"?? haha.. mabye you tried the method liao and share wif us in SJ the experiences, can? thanks in advance..

It has been quite tough the last month due to the workload. The market is a little subdued now and this give me some time to take a little rest from trading.

rogue_Trader, i am also under Starhub mobile, 2 yrs contract already over in Nov last year. I think i am already  4 yrs with starhub mobile. u mean i must call up Starhub to get some vouchers to get a new mobile... ? if so, i better do so.. haa.

victorian, it take me 3 mths to recover from the emotional tumouril when my father pass away abt 5yrs back. 

as mention in another thread, my dad pass away when i was 22 yrs old. i was very close to my dad too. The worse part is i think back n realise i had actually spent less time with him before he passed away....things like after i knock off, i didnt go home immediately but hang out outside till 10pm or so, came back home n sleep...didnt talk much to him. Another worse thing is i am very ignorant that eating high blood pressure medicine or diabetics medicine for more than 10 yrs can cost a person heart beat rate to drop to only 35% of a normal person heartbeat (he sleep n pass away quietly in bed). i call up the doctor after he pass away , n that doctor explain everything to me. And then, these few yrs, my colleagues's mum or dad also pass away suddenly in sleeping, the 1st thing i pass is "are they under chronic medicine?" and they say yes.

the reality knocks in when i realise i have to pay the house bills after he pass away, while my dad has been paying all along. i was even shocked to know a funeral had to cost $5K or more, luckily my bros got a lot of christians friends about 100+ of them in total. we don't have to fork out much. Talk about me how ignorant on paying the expenses of a family. i learn it the hard way.

so take good care of health, everyone.

I only tried a few dishes and the normal ones. I am going again so I shall try something new next ime. The crispy squid is nice and taste better tha the ones at Jumbo. It is slightly sweet:)

 

what else is nice and recommended to order? must go one of these days ;)

They have this bambo clamp but don't order too many. It cost me a "bomb". It is a confirmed "overweight" rating. Buy. Don't sell.*ha* 

 

agree, money is only a tool to an end but many in Singapore have enslaved themselves in their pursuit of money. The hot stock market and especially the en-bloc fever, those who do not have wished theirs would have en-bloc while those who have would fight to get more...

gd to hear from you elfie, though you sound really disappointed with whatever you observed or experienced. As long as we keep our conscience clear and stay real to ourself and to those around, nobody can fault us. Rest well...... and cheer up

Good attitude to adopt for $$$. Make $$$ as/when you can but don't let it control your life. I am sure all forumers here have their 'basic' needs (and more) met.......so be content with what you have and don't get too stressed in the money chase. There is alot more to life than material wealth.
