More than 200 over buying queue for SGX at 6.42/6.43. Seems like big boys are supporting this counter to prevent it drop further?
I won't rule out this possibility consider current declining trading volume and conditions. Let's wait a while more before buying.
I also shorted 5 lots at 6.49, but came out 6.43, dun wish to play today. My accidental naked short at 7.05 the other day will be bought back today. So there is profit for me today, dun need to stress myself. You guys enjoy!

Is anyone else of the opinion that Citi's downgrade of SGX to 6.45 is linked to Citi mopping up SGX shares for its clients? There was a lot of speculation of M&A in exchanges last year from what i remember. Is it time to stop shorting SGX and start thinking that maybe there's good news on the way? :)

Is it the ppl did not wake up or I am half asleep? With mkt sentiment not so good and DOW futures in -80 pts, why ppl are buying up SGX? I can see the buying are all in small lots, retail investors? I dun buy in the idea that today is buying up, hence I have just shorted 5 lots @6.83. Left with 2 more hours for me to cover back! Cheers!

I felt very disappointed with SGX, I didn't even to do anything on it, though it did a bid U turn. Looking at the tons of bad news in World Biz in Teletext and BT today, I clear my 11 SingTel leow. I even thought about clearing Keppel Corp and Keppel land, but very painful leh. Now, I also hate my favourite SPC, keyed to clear but later withdraw. Alamah few more counters need to clear as well. Now, mixes feeling. Cheers.

US retail fell 0.6% though not substantial, but couples with other unfavourable financial related issues, not likely to see bright sky on Fri STI market, just like the last few days Spore wet days.
Likewise the consumer index to be announced in Fri would not be that optimistic as well. Hence, keep clear to keep any "PETS", send them to SPCA, ha ha!
