oh, i've worked in two different industries, entering a 3rd one in jan. they're all very dif, but they require the same skill sets: precision, psychological analysis, and strategy.

do i assume you're eyeing ho bee?

punter, act i consider to sell at one of two signals:

1) if the trend reads sell.

2) if i think i can make a better profit on another counter.

Meaning if i'm currently eyeing another counter and i think its upside is significantly more than UIC's upside, then i'll actually sell out UIC now and buy the other counter. It's a judgement call. But if i'm not eyeing another counter, then, no sense shorting a winner. (also, if you don't need the cash to buy the other counter, no sense shorting it.)

Dear elfin...

Thanks for that... I was actually mulling over whether to take my profits at 2.08 and go into another counter. I too feel the 'urgency' of the price movements in the past few days and today. Your observations are real good. Perhaps I'll, like they say, let it run until the steam is obviously out then cash out, even if it's at lower than the peak. Maybe this is the chance for me to practice my fleshy 'nerves of steel'... hehe... :)

hey rickytan, don't sell yet. It's on a very strong uptrend. If post xmas haze it can go up like this, there's no telling what it can hit in 1st week of jan. :)

don't know abt price targets, but if the signals read overheated, then you sell. Not yet tho!

wing tai seems to be a little exhausted from all its running lately. hehe. Can still move, but give it til the new year to catch its breath first.

WingTai has done the first spurt "cheong". It's now priming itself for the phase 2. But Ho Bee is still to release it's catapult first  "cheong". Coming soon. Today's price 1.34/1.35

Thank you shplayer for the prompt response. May I ask further what price do you till is too expensive  - $2.40 seems to be target price (from I read from analyst report).  I see that you also buy more to average up.... I just kept holding to my holdings bought at $1.13 many many years ago. In any case, I am happy to have held on as I was very tempted to sell at about $1.40.  Thank you.

rickytan,

Yes vested since earlier this year between 1.20+ to 1.40+. Then increased stake before xmas at 1.86.

I am FA practioner...so I am prepared to hold until the counter seems to get too pricey. But, that is not to say I will not do abit of a punt every now and then to make some coffee $$ on the ups and downs.

Hi shplayer, may I know whether you are also vested in this stock ?  What is your view - continue to hold ?  Or should sell first at this high price and to buy back later when price weaken ?  Appreciate you comments. Thank you.

I am thinking of exiting at 2.08, but is a bit reluctant coz of full of bull in properties at this time...think I'll keep it for a month.
