I m gratified tat u too appreciate my TA sharing.
If u are keen to learn TA, do a search under my username, whereby I had recommended quite a few good books n TA "Free Tutorial on TA, candlestick n Elliot Waves" websites.
In a nutshell ma is used to see the trend (but lagging indicator) n support n resistance, a more leading indicator is the analysis of the candles (but must learn how to interpret the candlestickbut again nothing is infallible, remember set-stop loss is crucial. Plan your trade n trade your plan

Yes, I agreed with naka88. richtan has been showing his TA & is definitely very informative. Although I know little about TA at this moment and picking up, what richtan had posted is very helpful for newbie like me. Btw, anyone can share how to use Moving Average or other important Indicators? I’m just downloaded the free ChartNexus and not sure which are the basic one.
Also, can anyone advise which electronic trading platform to use? I’m using POEMS and I that the buy / sell transactions fee is a bit high.

Sell down vol is very high today. Do we see it as good as there are many buyers queueing to buy or see it as bad as there are many sell downs? Is it hitting a wall and falling back soon or is it still drilling through the wall and will penetrate later.

newtothis tend to make his stand without supporting his point in details. He mentioned that commodity stock should be avoided hence china hongxing, straits asia and indo agri should not be considered but why? Why only these 3 out of other commodity stocks? Also, then why not golden agri be in the list too? There shouldn't be some underlying reasons for you to make such deduction, shouldn't it? Some of his post sound too over-confident as if he dictates the stock market which i really need to read and think carefully myself after reading his post. |

I m basically a TA practitioner n mind u , TA is not infallible (so covering asshole is natural, tats where stop-loss matters) but I dun go around posting emotional post like "flying... flying...flying..." when it rises merely 0.005 or screaming'Tumbling...tumbling...tumbling..." when it drop merely 0.005 as if with ulterior motive to incite fear to your benefit, alas, the mkt is too big for u to manipulate, it is a futile effort, or likewise make a "confident" call (also probably with a futile ulterior motive) as I know there is no such thing as a "pow chia".

if you want to talk about the "tumbling" issue, similarly when people read your posts way back then, the price was 0.21 or so, it did dropped to 0.14 from then on. if people without holding power were to enter the market back then on reading how positive things were, they would have been burnt. so please, you do owe people an "amended post".
as much as newtothis is not a god, neither are you. don't behave to be too defensive when people start saying things opposite from yours!

Sorry, I have moral upbringings n moral sense of wat is right n wat is wrong n hate dispicable characters n will right wat I see as wrong.
I will always remember wat LKY once mentioned, something to the effect, like: "I will get out of my coffin if I need to right something tat is wrong"
I do have funnybones but reserved only for the right situation.
All I ask for is tat all forumers treasure this forum, do responsible posting n not degrade this forum like some others which I dun even bother to spent time reading except scan thru those I deemed good posting.
I m appalled by forumers making emotional, instigate fears, greed, unbased, selfish postings without facts or figures to substantiate their post but did it for ulterior motive n try worming their way out of their mistakes or worse, begrudge those kind enuf to enlighten them n be their mirror.
We are all humans with flaws n should appreciate others willing to be their mirror n not break tat mirror for revealing our flaws
I believe in accumulating good karma by our good actions n not doing evil things just for selfish gains.
