Stock price drops for a reason.
I'm waiting for its Financial Report of this quarter, will be release someway on May. Predictably could be worst than last last Quarter.
Usually when the day of Div go Expire (xd). It's share price will be automatically adjusted by the Market.

X date is 7 May, still far loh. Yet still need to look at the trend n hv a wider perspective in d current market sentiment, which generally driving d stock market. Hence, think twice, esp in current situation, when decide to do anything.
usually after the payout the prices will drop....and even nearer to the payout the prices went up too..

Sorry i need to make a correction on the Dividend pay date. it's on 25 May 09.
400 Dollars on 05 May 09 as this is Tax Exempted Dividend.

D other factor,AK guesses, is Citi now seems like a pseudo Nationalised Bank when US gov holding d controlled stake after exchanged its prf notes last week. Afraid there is uncertainty in d banking n financial sectors ahead.
Anyway, d above just for sharing, no alarm for anything.

UOB at 6-yr low, broker downgrades weigh
SINGAPORE - Shares of United Overseas Bank (UOB), Singapore's second-largest lender, fell 6 per cent to a six-year low on Monday after brokers cut their price targets for the bank following last week's poor earnings result.
