A good way to solve the refinance will b plus point to it. So the management has to speed up to solve it.

Wait some more will not do good to its share.

The share price will have to maintain a certain price if the management decides on raising funds using rights or private share placement. Was reading at their Fin report. RMT has a cash flow of 80 million and business  growth is within expectation. The only losing point is their D. They decided to make a lowered D move, probably to hold more cash more for bargaining with the lending banks in the long run.

On why not raising fund through rights really raise my eyebrow. I know that The total amount of units will dilute the DPU in the long term , however The amount of money can immediately solve this refinancing issue. do we need reevaluation of asset during this process and maybe becos now ships may worth like sepan boats  and that is why they are not doing that?

I know excess share orv rights may lower the NAV but if you look at the current price , IT is 4 times less now.  ( I tried working the amount of money needed vs the no of share they issue) , It is feasible .. and the NAV will drop to US .60 which  higher than the current pricing.. However the future DPU is what they are worried cos the more units you issue , the less DPU in the long run , However their expansion can actually account for the dilution or counter this issue.

I dont know , the management should really be smart enough to learn from Temasek .. do the right thing !! Even cityspring  doing that now!!

Even though the right issue isnot really welcomed , as least they are solved it immediately.

Maybe RMT really know how to bargain and get the best deal out of US, the retail investors. The tide is turning around and this is a good times to press down the price and do a buyback. They know what is best for them or maybe worst . Anyone get to know the movement of insider trading , please share as that reflect the confidence and the ultimate intention  . Thank you

This was my scenario planning for RMT but it turns out otherwise. I did say that management is smart and impressive. I beg to differ now.

Take for  example , the news of raising rights was true . The price might already move up to $1 already during these period and they increase the no of share by 50% more  , selling like for every 2 share s, buy one rights share at $0.5. They solved this problem already. They will raise close to 100 million and with the cash in hand , the refinanciing issue is over.

Then come to DPU, with 150% more than the usual number of units , their DPU will drop but they can happily dont retain any cash and give them all out and i would see the dpu would still be around  US 1.2-2 cents very Q. With new ship and goos economy coming ,  earning will be good and better, this dilution will soon  be negligible!

HAI ..... WHY cant  they think ?

The easy way will be issue RIGHTS. I believe currently its investor will welcome this option.

I bought at 56 cents  sigh, thinking of going in at 40 cents, but some say rickmers may suspend dpu  for sometime . Their debths are just too big for anyone to swallow. I have global invest too (formerly babcock and brown) maybe should sell this and reinvest in rickmers. What do you think.
