agree with singaporegal on the downtrend. quite a steep one too. pls be cautious. support is abt 80c.

in addition, DBSVB call as per pasted below, accurate to 16th march:

-----------------------------------

 Jurong Tech Ind Corp
Frail Outlook

Story: Jurong Tech?s business prospects are lackluster for FY07. Although
the new business momentum going into 1H07 is healthy, 1H07 performance
would still be lower y-o-y, due to the loss of Maxtor business.

Point: FY07 revenue should continue to grow on the back of new business
segments, but these are lower margins compared to existing business.
Therefore, we expect FY07 net profit to fall by 8% y-o-y. Furthermore, the
company is exposed to the risk of a slowdown in Motorola, which now
accounts for over 70% of total business. Jurong Tech is actively looking to
diversify its customer base.

Relevance: We have trimmed our estimates on earnings by 15% for FY07.
Taking into account customer concentration risks, high gearing ratio and
expected decline in net profit, we maintain HOLD for Jurong Tech. Our
revised target price of S$0.98 is pegged to 6.5x FY07 PE, based on the
lowest historical PE of 6.2x.

From TA charts, it looks to be on a sustained downtrend. Be cautious

"revenue is mainly due to a change in revenue-recognition model from buy-sell to
consignment basis for several key wireless programmes. Net profit margin rose to 5.5%
from 3.5% in FY2005." - taken from their report.

So meaning that they will not depend on the lousy Motorola anymore in the future. Look to a brighter future!

Well, as long as they can get enuf orders from some other brands.. hehe

Haha. Thats a good one nicky.  Thats what the sales people would say. As long as it generates income, just give what the customer want.

But for the engineers, I dont think they will be too please with so many standards.

What a world we live in~ I am not complaining, I am just happy where I am and having the ability to make MY OWN LIFE better.

Until N has a de-facto standard, every brand will take a stab at it going with the DRAFT version which will lead to inter-brand incompatibility as we see it now.  That aside, will JurTech be the one getting contracts from Netgear, Belkin, D-Link, Linksys etc etc? OR just Motorola again.... ? :p

nickyng, you sure live dangerously. Good mercenary material - high risk taker, craziness and a good sense of survival.

Have to salute you for that :)

At least 2 Research Houses consistently gave high TP wrongly even after poor results released & BBs started selling. Can't trust them at all!. CIMB also cut TP from $1.71 to $1.14 on 28/2/07.
