dude ............. i hope this one goes all the way to the moon!  why the heck suddenly HO Bee popular again ah when couple of wks back i thought  mkt has lose interest in it

 

woww ... the chart looks positive on Ho Bee. i think Ho Bee going to hit its previous high of $2.7 soon! 

 

slowly, but surely, Ho Bee will be well fed for 2 years as they materialise the projects gradually

Hi Singaporean, but sentosa Cove is not a redevelopment project and should not be affected by this tax, isn't it?

 

Yes, believe the 20% DC increase will hardly affect Ho Bee.  Company develops mainly high-end residential property such as their various prestigious Sentosa Cove projects.  Unless Govt continue to dream up more spoilers to curb demand, today's price  is very attractive and I have bought some.  Also think Govt is more keen in curbing the prices of middle-income residence rather than the high-end's; furthermore Ho Bee is more nimble compared with their bigger counterparts and do not have large land bank.  If price not moving up tom will buy some more

 

Hi hobeeans, i read that the new government measures will only affect properties purchased 2mths ago n after. This in my opinion is to curb present demand of flats caused by en-bloc pp. But back to the pt, i seriously believe today's closing of 2.02 is an undervaluation of the stock. Any comments? =)

 

Hi mates.......what's up with this HO BEE.....bought this puppy at 2.28, saw it went up to 2.55 and then now it's at 2.24.... Any idea what is going here? 

 

waah the market sure can be cruel .
everyone seems to have forgotten good ol Ho Bee. all other property counters cheonging like nobodys business and the BB decides to push Ho Bee down.
still at only 9 times forward PE , come on BB let it catch up lah .

  i am not a expert trader so may not be best person to comment on your question.
TA is just a tool to anticipate potential movements, there may be other economic fundamentals involved which the BB monitors which makes him decide whether to continue with breakout or to let it go back to accumulation.
Bollinger bands along with MACD will only give u perfect results when the fundamentals also show a rise.
at may end, the signs of which way the markets heading not clear thats why the Bulls on Ho Bee still decided to wait a while

 

If one look at the Bollinger Bands Indicator for Ho Bee,

one can see that it has reached it's tight portion at the end of May.

But no big price move happened after that for more than a month since that time of 'tightness'.

So how useful really are Bollinger Bands, any experienced traders care to comment?
