Hey, why let the market influence your view on this counter. Basically, its for long term growth along with constant dividend. Furthermore, look at Thomson Medical, giving out dividend utilising its Section 44, likewise, I believed this might be the case here. Anyway, look for multi-bagger, need not look far.

Raffles Medical Group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Raffles Hospital Pte Ltd, has agreed to enter into a collaborative service agreement with Pfizer Asia Pacific Pte Ltd that will see the transfer of Pfizer's clinical research unit from Singapore General Hospital to Raffles Hospital. Result out!!!!

Posted consistent growth rate of 31% with a net profit of $15m. Dish out the expected dividend of $30 per share and on top of that the goodies ie. 1 for 10 bonus issue.

CIMB-GK has raised its rating to $1.09 from $1.00 in the light of the hospital operator's third-quarter results.



"Raffles Medical remains our top pick in the Singapore health care sector on the back of its strong earnings prospects," CIMB-GK said.



CIMB-GK said that with Raffles Medical expanding its margins, it has lifted its estimates of the company's earnings for next year and 2008 by 10-11%, now forecasting net profit of $21.8 mln next year and $26.9 mln in 2008.
