Ang mo is still king, in technology and economic, China and all include us is their meat,

they left we dies,

China is down, show the world is not buying,

look at those s-chip, annual revenue down so much, Qingmei 87%, foreland 60%, how to survive like this for another few Q?

if u work in factory, u know, there will be mass retrenchment. Even if your revenue down just 20%, all eat grass.

worker got to do short week or take unpaid leave or force annual leave.

World Wide Liquidity is about to fall or is already falling.  And we all know that cheap money (thanks to US, Euro, Japan) is what's driving the assest classes upwards (especially in Emerging Markets or  EMs).

Falling Liquidity coupled with rising interest rates..... bad, bad, bad for business, properties, equities.

You could be right, that is why stubbornly stand in front of a moving train is no hero.

Follow the trend.

It is not that i want to make enemy, but want to share.

get out now and buy back cheaper is more profitable then ave down.

ave down is suicide.

After easing of US QE.. interest rate will starts to rise.... the outflow will continues as there is lesser incentives to invest in Singapore (due to relatively unattractive returns and potential exchange losses)...Prices of property in Singapore to fall with the falling equities prices.... speculators will get squeezed by the banks due to falling property prices and increasing local lending rates..... more and more people will become " Negative Asseted" .... finally COE prices falls substantially.

So why buy now and catch a falling knife or a dead cat......  :-P

IMO

All those component stock , like Hp, are support by QE, do u know 70% over of small cap are suffering quietly,  Those business that are more close to consumer in the US, If the US is not consuming, how can the economy grow?

U see, last Q govt defence cut spending, the economy grow  0.4. down form 3.0.

No QE, no cheap money, stock got hit,

Yes, follow the trend, go short.

the trend is your friend.

shorting is no wrong, it is a way to hedge your position.

did not hello123, told you so,

" penny season is over, shorting season has begun"

Buy the Correction Before It Runs Out of Steam

Dear Customer

  • Global equities may recover this week as technicals have improved
  • Rise in US Treasury Yields likely to pause
  • Patchy US economic data eases fears of an early dilution in the size of quantitative easing
  • Euro zone final PMIs confirm a gradual improvement
  • China’s May economic data disappointed

Global equities may recover this week, on the back of Friday’s US non-farm payroll report which was not strong enough to argue that the Federal Reserve taper down its USD85 billion monthly asset-purchase programme in the near-term. Technical indicators are signalling the possibility of sustained rebounds in US, Japan and even Singapore equities. There may continue to be volatility in equities and bond markets driven by mercurial policy and interest rate expectations. But we remain confident that the uptrend in global equities remains intact and we should see higher prices over coming months. We reiterate our buy call.
