lol...I experienced that with SPC petrol too. I was using Esso all the while and I decided to switch to SPC due to high cash discounts that time. My Esso used to give me mileage of about 500-550 km per full tank. But SPC only gave me 450-500km. After a few tries, I decided to stay loyal to Esso...hahaha. But ended up investing in SPC...lol! Probably it's bcos we have only ONE oil company here in SG. Also the engine did not respond well to SPC compared to Esso, less POWDERFUL!

Come to think of it, I have only pump a tank of 98 octane petrol with SPC once. The mileage I got was terrible and the engine didnt respond well to it.  So the only downside to me is their petrol I have used - not suitable.

Hmm.. ya.. this is a solid company.. unless u are playing speculatives, for short term profit... u might get burnt...

Hmmm.. pardon me for saying this.. maybe some pple dont like but for me, if this company drops lower i will be very happy... Haha.. cos i am buy more... 1402, i vested higher price than u le.. $6.50... i can still sleep soundly at night... dont worry guys...blue chips will be the first to cheong after market correct... now is the time to acc.. Hmm... by the way, SPC gives out good dividend yield.. earning its dividend also shiok... keke... Smiley

people, i stayed vested in SPC when it hit highs of $6 in 2006 and held on when it fell to $4, i do not see whats there to fear when you are holding a solid company. But if u cant sleep at night, might as well sell your holdings before you go bonkers.

idesa168, there will always be fluctuations, if any bro out there plays with margin, its their problem when they get margin call.

as value investors, you guys shld take the chance to increase your shareholdings, not whine about the soon to be $4 SPC if oil also falls.

if u dont wanna suffer the downtrend, you could take guide from bro jackson, he's sensitive to market movements and pulls out and gets back timely.

idesa168, i see no problem here, you bought a piece in a solid company, what you want is to increase your shareholdings, with a fall in share prices, it gives you a solid chance to invest the rest of your cash.

(speculators can go to hell)

1402. Please practise some sensitivity here. There are quite a handful of ppl here still holding. Dun invite unnecessary conflict.
