I am waiting for CSR 3Q result which will be announced today after market close. CSR in HSI has up 4.11% http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/1766:HK
Hopefully, the revenue of CSR is also up as CNR. Profit in CSR will contribute to Midas " gain/loss from association" and the revenue of CSR and CNR will continue to the the revenue and profit of Midas.
I saw the selling queue at 41.5cents are building up. Sigh... Hope all these people will not regret their decision to follow the weak technical chart and fear of weak market.

Ya, does not make sense to sell at this price as there is very little downside and compared to the huge potential upside.

3Q result first. Midas project is already sufficient to hit 50cents and above. High speed train project is a bonus to hit 60cents.
Now, Midas must make profit in 3Q to convince investors and show the strong recovery in her train delivery and profit margin.

CSR No.1 Train China Train Company is going announced 3Q. CSRPZ which is subsidiary of CSR and Midas owned 32.5%. CNR 3Q result has give strong signal that CSR will have good result too. Don't forget if CSRPZ also earned money, it will contribute to Midas 3Q result as well. Furthermore, train deliver in 3Q has boost CNR revenue, Midas revenue will be boosted too.

You just look through the shares in SGX, do you find any share can give you positive outlook in 2013?
Market turn good, Midas will be up since China need trains for their city. Market turn bad, Midas will still be up since China will pump in more money to build trains and railways to stimulate the economic. No matter market down or up, Midas will still be up.
Our 'Master' also don't dare to give entry price, he worry his student will bring rotten egg later.

MIDAS is showing a lot of mixed signal in the last 1 month with bias towards the downside.
It could be reversing to the downtrend.
Just becareful if you are holding long position.
CIMB Research raised its target price for Midas Holdings Ltd , which supplies components for railway projects, to S$0.63 from S$0.41 and kept its 'outperform' rating, citing expectations of more high-speed rail contract wins.
At 0126 GMT, Midas shares were up 1.2 percent at S$0.425. They have gained 28.8 percent since the start of the year, outperforming the FTSE ST China Index's 0.5 percent rise.
CSR Corp Ltd, China's state-owned locomotive manufacturer, expects to see high-speed contracts by the end of this year or the first quarter of 2013, which will benefit Midas, CIMB said.
Midas also has a strong balance sheet, relying on short-term loans and receivable securitisation to fund its working capital, the brokerage said.
Although Midas will be entering a capital-intensive phase when it starts construction of a new production facility, CIMB said its balance sheet offers some buffer in any prolonged order drought or liquidity shortage.
If don't buy know, i dunno when is the next better time to buy.

I am still holding my long on Midas
Nearly breaking my setting holding resistance. Let's see what is the price today.
I have no hidden agenda and I post here purely based on news and my investment position.
The website you should always refer except Midas website. Midas has very close working relationship with CSR which own about 60% train market share in China. CSR, Midas and the other 2 parties to form consotium and set up CSRPZ which are focusing on Metro Train which need Aluminium components heavily. The Mother company CSR manufactured Metro Train, High Speed Train, Locomotive and etc train. They just won South Africa train renewal contract, hopefully they need some aluminium components.
Further more, looking at CSRPZ and CSR train website, quite a lot of trains were handed over in past 3 months. I bet on their coming 3Q result which shall be quite good on 14 Nov.
