1.585 is the issue price. I believe people will jack the price up over there. ahhaha
Its 1H report book is shining. Since 1 Jul till end Aug, it had delivered 13 vessels to the clients. Its current order book last till end of 2013.
If no serious problem in 3 dock yard in China, AK dun see there is no reason for the coy booms further. Cheers.
BTW, AK had dumpped all my Yzj early May liao, switching to GentSP mah.
1.62 is good buy?
SIGNING OF UNDERWRITING AGREEMENT WITH THE JOINT UNDERWRITERS AND FIXING OF THE TDR ISSUE PRICE AT NT$18.8 PER TDR (EQUIVALENT TO APPROXIMATELY S$1.585 PER SHARE OF THE COMPANY, EVERY TWO TDRS REPRESENTING ONE SHARE OF THE COMPANY)
Look at the announcement by YangZJ on 1-Sep, what do you think is the best entry price ? See the market price today for YZJ 1.61-1.62, may be close to 1.59-1.60 who knows?

CIMB upgrades from Trading Buy and lifts the target price to $1.68 from $1.54 after increasing FY10-12 earnings estimates by 2 to 13 per cent to account for latest US$915 million worth of contracts.
The house says it expects the shipbuilder to clinch more orders for container vessels in the near term.

DBS Vickers lifts Yangzijiang (BS6.SG) target price to $2.05 from $1.80, pegged at 14x FY10 P/E, after increasing FY10-11 earnings forecasts by 24%-26% to account for latest US$915 million ($1.2 billion) orders for 28 vessels, says Dow Jones.
“While we have anticipated some containership orders, Yangzijiang surprised us with the massive orders from bulk carriers as well, which was unexpected given the plunge of BDI in June-July,” says DBS Vickers.
Expects shipbuilder to clinch US$1.1 billion worth of contracts by end-2010 vs US$600 million forecast previously. Keeps Buy call.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding: Pick up in orders continues; sets up design services JV
Summary: Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (YZJ) announced that it has entered into 28 shipbuilding contracts worth a total of US$914.98m [S$1.2 Billion] since 1Jul 2010.
##OLD NEWS RE-HASHED ? ?##
Eight of these are containerships and the rest are dry bulk carriers. However, we note that eight contracts (worth US$298.1m) out of the 28 contracts are options to be exercised by ship owners. Another five contracts (worth US$127.4m) have been factored into the group’s order book following the receipt of initial deposits from ship-owners, while the remaining 15 contracts (worth US$489.48m) will be effective from the receipt of initial deposits.
The vessels are scheduled for deliveries from 2011 to 2013. Separately, a subsidiary of the group has signed a letter of intent with two other marine-related companies to set up a JV to provide design services for shipbuilding of commercial vessels and marine engineering projects.
We maintain our BUY rating but are reviewing our S$1.66 fair value estimate. (Low Pei Han)

TAIPEI, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Yangzijiang (YAZG.SI), China's No.4 shipbuilder, is set to raise as much as T$4.56 billion ($143 million) in a dual listing in Taiwan, a source with direct knowledge of the situation said on Wednesday, making it the first Chinese firm to sell shares on the island.
Singapore-listed Yangzijiang is planning to sell 240 million units of Taiwan depository receipts (TDRs) at T$17 - T$19 each to institutional investors, said the source.
The listing, set to kick off on Sept. 8, is the latest sign of improving business ties between Taiwan and China.
Both sides inked in June a landmark free trade deal, or the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), slashing tariffs for hundreds of Taiwan's exports and boosting the island's economy.
(For a TAKE A LOOK on the trade deal, click on [ID:nECFA])
Whether the listing by the shipbuilder will succeed has largely to do with Chinese stock markets, some analysts said.
"Investors will pin future movements of Yangzijiang shares on China's A shares," said Quincy Liu, president of Masterlink Investment Advisory.
"If A shares perform well at the time of the listing, there would be upside potential for Yangzijiang shares," he said.
Each share represents two units of TDRs, said the source, who declined to be identified. The source is not authorised to speak to the media.
Shares of the shipbuilder shed 0.66 percent in Singapore trading on Wednesday. They have risen about 25 percent year to date, partly reflecting the dual listing. ($1=T$32) (Writing by Faith Hung; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
I'm new to trading. Thus, came into this forum to learn from you guys.
Will YZJ really breaks below S$1.40?
Alexchia01, why next week is going to get even worst? This stock going to drop next week? Thanks for the guidance.
On Wednesday, Yangzijiang re-tested its major support at $1.50 and
closed at $1.50 with LOW volume of 10.4 million shares traded.
A black candle sticks with long lower shadow similar to a “Hanging
man” affirms on the lack of conviction for this recent break out.
Both RSI & MACD are bullish as MACD perform a “golden cross” recently.
Important Resistance of Yangzijiang: $1.56
Immediate Support of Yangzijiang: $1.50
Currently prices are well above 20/50/100/200 days MA.
Although the prices remain trending in the rising channel, we would
not suggest buying now since Yangzijiang seems to display signs of
weakness.

In fact we would urge investors who are vested to look out for the
strong support at $1.50 and sell once support breached at high volume.
Agree. I withdraw @ $1.49. Will enter again if it breaks below $1.40.
