Dividend is even smaller than before when it was doing only furnitures. Claim so much prospect in newly converted marine industry, much bigger bussiness profile! But rewarding to shareholders suck as both capital gain and passive income returns is rubbish.............
Warrants expiring soon early 2013 and execrise price per warrant is ooping 22 cents!!! Those who supported it is going to be bitten back, what a shame. :(

I recall that he was a strong supporter of Adv SCT at around $ 1. Look at Adv SCT's price now.
On the other hand, he had a good run in Artvision and KS Energy.
Andy has been aggressively accumulating this stock..now has 2+%..
share has moved from a low of 9.2c to 10.2..that's a gain of 1c ..translates to approx 11% gain..
if u want to be rich ..follow the rich..cos the rich gets richer..
if u wanna be poor follow the poor.. gd luck..u decide who u want to follow..
i shall await the day viking is 8c or 1 or 2 c as someone has predicted..
i'm accumulating together with Mr Andy..gd luck to us.. :)
We're entering a great bear market counter like this without liquidity & relying only director's buyback would not be able to maintain its price.
When market rebound or techincal rally, it just stay there but when markets trend down or any bad news (like suit case with marine accom) it had plunge by big percentage, how will it not fall gradually towards 1 to 2 cents level if current markets are in bear terrority with big crash coming anytime.
Advice, stay away and target of 1 to 2 cents is within reach.
sorry to say this stock volume is  ridiculousness  its nearly a one man show. 400 + lots traded means director buying shares only lol .with a   mere 20 k of investment you can move the stock upward lol.cause thats 200 lots ,approx.orderbook is not large.
below NAV not sure hows that calculated.
  Volume is   : (
My expectations not a 1 cent stock as stated by other forumers . but maybe 3 cents would be a safe entry point. considering everyday buy back to prevent share price from falling
if not 2 cents due to others selling.range is around there.

With cash value at hand at most 1.5 cents.
1st hurdle crossing soon......... Coming to 8 cents level already as forecast :)
One hurdle at a time........ towards..........hopeful lowest level..........by 2012
U both had your own right in your own view.
In the end, maybe around 2 to 5 years+ looking back.
The answer of right or wrong is in your account, the prove of right decision.
I think u didn't read the Buffetology part properly..let me show u again
Most of the time, most businesses are not worth what they are selling for, but on rare occasions the wonderful businesses are almost given away. When that happens, buy boldly, paying no attention to current gloomy economic and stock market forecasts."
also when price was @ 18+..PE at that time was < 10x..value investors look for stocks that are out of favour with other investors especially those with low PE ratios..anything less than 10 would be a good indicator..who can predict that the market will start free falling? In any case if Warren Buffet had bought a stock and an investor bought cheaper than him, then by alls means that person got it at a better price than Buffet, but does it make him smarter? ..it's all about market timing, but one cannot catch the bottom bottom..that's what u are trying to do..if u know when's the bottom pls tell me.. as an investor i do my sums and use these figures to determine my investments, analyse whether the company is undervalued, if it is, i'll buy it,of course it may go lower,at least i know i'm getting it at a price lower than it's intrinsic value,at the end of the day, the price will catch up with its intrinsic value. i'm not a trader nor a speculator,i'm an investor. i don't buy a share n hope that it will go up tomorrow, i buy it because market sentiment has mispriced a stock and it's an opportunity to capitalize on this anomaly.

You are as stubborn as a pig. Major trend is in down trend and we all should be respecting it.
Viking maybe a good undervalued stock in your own view but then you keep calling buy & buy from level 18cents to now 9.5 cents! If anyone can respect the major trend and later buy at even cheaper price, wouldn't that fellow with sensible timing more wiser than you?
Clever is good enough but not act over clever self belief too strong & not respecting major trend will cause you to buy everything at a higher cost. Lean back sometimes and listen more rather than counter every statements make to you.

Let me leave u with some Buffetology...i still think u do not know what the meaning of investing..and taking advantage of opportunities where undervalued companies present itself........
Investment Style
Warren Buffett's investing style of discipline, patience and value has consistently outperformed the market for decades.
John Train, author of " The Money Masters" (1980), provides us with a succinct description of Buffett's investment approach: " The essence of Warren's thinking is that the business world is divided into a tiny number of wonderful businesses – well worth investing in at a price – and a large number of bad or mediocre businesses that are not attractive as long-term investments. Most of the time, most businesses are not worth what they are selling for, but on rare occasions the wonderful businesses are almost given away. When that happens, buy boldly, paying no attention to current gloomy economic and stock market forecasts."
Buffett's criteria for " wonderful businesses" include, among others, the following:
- They have a good return on capital without a lot of debt.
- They are understandable.
- They see their profits in cash flow.
- They have strong franchises and, therefore, freedom to price.
- They don't take a genius to run.
- Their earnings are predictable.
- The management is owner-oriented.
BTW, please dun compare yourself   firstly with MR Andy Lim and now Mr Buffet (plenty of food that will last forever), losing a million to them is nothing & they will still be playing golf tomorrow. For us probably crying and lost dun know what to do!
Comparing like that is like making a fool of ourselves.

It will happen :) Every 10 years crash cycle is in progress and STI will only be at its lowest around 2013. So now in this process Viking will slowly move lower & lower towards its lowest point ( hopefully 1-2 cents mark)
Dun be stubborn & boastful you will be killing yourself (Buy the whole company, HA HA)
Since you sound so experience and logically shouldn't you be respecting the downfall major trend which most traders simply know?
WAKE UP
Good luck :)

Let me know when it's 1c..i will buy up the whole company...
PE of only 4.8...definitely a steal..
DYODD...
if Buffet is buying now, shows that valuations are dirt cheap ...
gd luck :)
At last, as predicted --- below 10cents mark.
Next would be moving slowing to 5 cents mark..........slowly..........hopefully then see whether can buy at 1 to 2 cents during any crash.
good luck then.
you are assuming that me n Andy are different..
but i can show u the similarities..
We both made lots of $$$$ with United Envirotech..(the forummers who stuck with me will know this)
and we're both buying Viking at dirt cheap prices knowing full well that the company is PROFITABLE
and price will catch up with the real intrinsic value of the company.. :)
i'm averaging down like crazy cos when the share price drops, an INVESTOR will have more buying
power to scoop up more shares in the company..
i'm a long term investor.. i don't shiver in fear when the price of a PROFITABLE company drops..
i see it as an opportunity to collect more.. the business fundamentals do not change over night..
the price fluctuates day in and day out.. for an investor u need to know when to capitalize on that.
Gd luck :)
