Regardless good or bad, those people holding many on hand are forced invest more. Some don't wish or don't have extra capital will sell the shares or the rights at a later time. This will immediately create sell off and price will sure go south.

If one sees the right issue as a good thing, buying on dip will definitely pay off well later.

There are broad reasons why companies do a rights issue.  As such, the price of the shares changes not just because of the rights issue, but also because the market digests the news that a company needs the capital. In principle, the decision to raise equity by means of a rights issue can be seen as a Good Thing or a Bad Thing, so the actual share price can deviate from the theoretical value.

As you can see solar2008, prices dropped after the rights issue. If you have $ to hold then its gd if not then have to bite the bullet...

Ya fortunately I bought it with the intention of holding... and has available cash to buy the rights too.

Else Lugi big time... $1.18 for 1 lot of Ezra... not a bad price to grab and hold =)

Seems like this year's selldown occur earlier (usually in Sep/Oct) and seems like Sep could be a good month!

Then you better sell now and buy back after Rights Issue.

The price is going to fall further as it get closer to the XR Date.

It's unfortunate for you because Rights Issue is a good way to accumulate share at an attractive price.

Good luck.
