The sharpest surge in the dollar in a year and the sharpest drop in gold in 10 years ! You must be mad not to stay focussed on the dollar!

It is very ominous indeed...

It soared so much on news of improved job figures,


yet it plumetted heavily underwater (red zone) just a short while later... all within a couple of hours.

The smart money certaiinly seems to know something the emotional masses don't...

 

strong US dollar causing US market to plunge.. but i think STI will focus on the economic news instead rather than on the strong US dollar and cheong on monday

 

its really a steep rollercoaster from a high point when we thought it will go above 10500 early into trading hours and maintain from there..within a short while it just slipped down...its scary how steep it was...not even gradual

nvm...we still got a few hours on to go...things might change right

What a sick and scary market!

Only a while ago, the Dow was +150 pts. on good jobs news....

And now,  only a couple of hours later, it is in the negative zone -13pts!...  

Thus it can be seen, the market is indeed a beast with a mind of its own... hehehe...
