Bought some at $1.59 and sold all at $1.65. Think uptrend is limited for the time being. Earning some Kopi $$ for me is enuff. :))

I checked the transactions, 680 lots were sold after 5pm. Maybe some big boys can't wait to unload due to poor sentiments. But for your colleague's case, you mean somebody can't wait to buy after they couldn't collect the shares they wanted at the end of the day?

That means someone went in to sell at $1.61 after 5pm. closing. So good for you lor.....  Last Thursday, my colleague queued to sell Capitaland at $6.20 but for the whole day, it was done at $6.15.  But at the end of the day ie after 5 pm, her order was filled at $6.30.... same senario as yours.

Based on singaporegal's TA, I tried my luck to queue to buy at $1.62. It was executed after 5 pm at $1.61 for all the lots. Can anyone tell me why got such good thing?

Excellent news.... the TA indicators I read about Comfort a few days ago were almost textbook case of an ideal-buy situation!

Rarely happens... but when it does, usually good profits can  be made.

Hi zujzuj,

Yah... I'm a self-confessed ShareJunction addict. Simply love this site and its the default website when I open my browser. :)

Wow... in the 70s... thats more than 30 years ago! I usually don't hold shares for more than 30 trading days!

haha...spore gal, u're good... gg on holiday still come to sharejunction. Enjoy ur hols !! Me not at all worried abt this counter.... A solid counter for long term holdings.

tell u all an amazing story, a member of my family bought a lot SBS shares ($3000) back in the 70s.... today, that 1 lot has "grown" to more than 10 lots (can't rem exact number) of comfortdelgro, 1 lot of SBS transit n lots of dividends throughout the yrs.

It is possible n it really happened.

So folks, our tiny island has indeed be v kind to us... although, we still complain like mad...haha

Glad to hear that!

Comfort will probably remain uptrending for a while. Too bad I'm not vested because I'm going on holiday.

Potential uptrend still in place. Bollinger bands getting tighter. Watch this counter closely.

Not vested.

u see it will climb.. too bad no more capital for vesting in it..

Singgal, i currently tempted to use Oversea CFD for more margin. CFD allow 5 times leverage compared to 3.3 times i using now. CFD can short and long somemore. Oversea one got no time limit unlike local CFD.

However i only recommend those with proper discipline like me and sinngal in cutting lost to use CFD.

Hi zujzuj,

I don't use support or resistance levels so I can't comment on that. I'm basically a "trend" person.

Some indicators work well when they reinforce one another. I find that the combination of Acc/Dist, Chaikin, RSI and Williams %R work extremely well together.

One word of caution - try not to use too many indicators because they will confuse you. Pick 3 or 4 that you are familiar with and that work well together and ignore eveything else.

Think the buying is still not v strong yet.... Patience is the key...

This is a v defensive stock...the lowest it will go is 1.4 plus (for almost past 2 yrs). So if u are looking for quick gains, don't look here.

For me, I use TA to time my entry into good FA stocks
