sir, dont salute me. I am not here to suan or create trouble. If I tell you I actually knew Midas would broke down, I bet no one would believe me. But I knew it when I took profits at 0.435, just timing issues only before we see a breakdown today. Also, I didnt blog about Midas after I took profits at 0.435, because it was so boring in the  distribution  phase that I would rather focus on some other stocks. Until yesterday when I saw it was holding at 0.405/0.41. I knew very soon, the breakdown is coming |

Tomorrow's the China Premier Handover, right?
News will follow on stimulus to jack up the economy - with industrial activity and improved transportation as the main drivers for growth.
What'll happen here then? :) Vest in  Midas little by little.

Back to my post two months ago when it was .395. The price did not rise much. Catalyst in Nov if China announces more infrastructure stimuli, and when the committed projects are fulfilled. Counter to watch out |

Brokedown indeed! And I read somewhere  you mentioned about waiting for it to get to 0.37+ when  it was hovering around 0.405 - 0.415 for the longest time. Is it a good time to get in yet? I'm glad I waited:)

May be Citigroup want to retrench their investment department staff  and ask them to clear all their singapore investment after the Indian MD leave Citigroup.
So many counters are attacked with loss in these few days when other market is green.

One guru told me before:
the winner must know when to keep the winning and understand the odd to winIt's stick with me ever since. Winning itself is already very hard to come by. It's a pity to give up your winning.

If you follow my thread, today 38.5cents nearly touch my breakeven level 36.6cents.
I earned a lot from Ausgroup in my CFD account close to 150% and NOL about 30%. I am playing with Midas with my profit actually.
No worry about me. If today train crash in china, I will run but it doesn't.
I am going to hold my share.
I am going to sell my midas in  CFD account  batch by batch if reach margin call. Today, my margin call is touch, my broker will call me tomorrow.

I think many many others are being attacked these few days, and most of them have not been moving these few weeks even when STI, Europe or Dow are green green...

My 2  favourite shares, Ausgroup and Midas are attached by shortist these few days. I sold Ausgroup early at 52cents but still keep Midas till today.
The most simple reason is Midas is in booming industry, Ausgroup is in gloomy industry now and 2013.
Hope I am right. All the best for new comer for Midas. |

CSR is china no.1 trains and truck manufacturer from truck, coal locomotive, electrical train till high speed train. 60% market share in china belong to them.
CSR has subsidiary CSRPZ which manufacture metro train (or MRT you are more familiar with), Midas and the other 2 parties and CSR form as consotium and Midas own 32.5% share of CSRPZ.
If you notice properly, Midas biggest customer is CSR since Metro train and high speed train which are using electrical driven system require very light material as the body components, so Aluminium is the choice.
CSR good mean Midas is good since the aluminium components of high speed train and metro train contract will go to Midas automatically which counted 5 to 10% of total contract or revenue  of CSR high speed train and metro business.

khng2012, why are you comparing with CSR? Sorry, never read old thread if you have explained before.
It has correlation until mid-march, but it’s opposite correlation until now. Should take opposite position instead?
