banks usually recover the fastest. cause if banks business dont improve, there will be no loans, no loans means no money movement, which in turn leads to no trade, and if no trade, how the other companies going to recover?

so in times of crisis, your best bet are banks.  it used to be a 7 years cycle, but now shortening liao. given that the world is so developed, financial cycles are happening faster. 2 years ago was the sub prime, oil and financial scams. now is currency war, commodity war. we have a few years to go before next bear market come theory wise. but seriously, if currency war starts, that will be next crisis liao. no need wait 5 years.

bear market can earn a lot more due to fear, got money just short any counter u happy, and u sure profit from it. find price book ratio = 1 market leader companies and start buying them once they reach bottom. dont forget to share with the rest of us.

The company signed a sale and purchase agreement today with CWC’s only other shareholder, Waterloo Industrial Limited, for its 13% stake in CWC. The consideration for the 13% shareholding in CWC (including the assignment of Waterloo’s existing shareholder’s loan to CWC) is the equivalent of US$12.8 million ($16.7 million) in Sembcorp Industries shares, amounting to a total of 3,630,192 new shares to be issued by Sembcorp. The consideration was arrived at on a willing buyer willing seller basis, taking into account the net tangible asset value of CWC Group. Upon completion of the transaction, CWC will become a 97.66% subsidiary of the Sembcorp Group. CWC invests in and operates municipal water facilities in six locations in China: Fuzhou, Qitaihe, Xinmin, Yancheng, Yanjiao and Zhumadian.
