Why everyone know so much one... Hope I got chance to take up a $250 course and learn something.
FA is part and parcel of trading, not divorced from it.

i also prefer fundamental approach. but i like the thrill of watching the numbers run up and down. analyzing how the market will move, and being right about it. think i will split 80 20, 80 to fundamentals, 20 to trade.

once i recoup my losses, i will not trade with everything i have. probably trade with only 20% of my capital. 80% will be buy and hold of good counters. want be trader, need full time, or else work and trading will have conflict.
Jade is also at all time low....issuing rights... feel free to take a look at TA... can buy a bit...

Also says response from some Australian lawmakers emotional, misplaced. While comments bring some clarity on time frame for Australian regulatory hurdle, Kenneth Ng, Head of Research at CIMB, says nothing has changed; "this deal, at the very starting point, was positive for both exchanges, I think it will eventually go through anyway." Adds, backlash in Australia wasn't unexpected, but "I have not been reading too much into all this political noise from the start." Says, fundamentally, deal will create more liquidity, attract more listings, new products; vital for health of exchanges, and much needed in face of growth in North Asia's bourses

Dow still flat flat. But at least still green, just now a bit red. Europe also not much movt. All waiting for Fed.........
But a second spurt up is quite usual...
esp on a flagpole....
yea..just that must catch that period..when it kicks in..those with capital..will gets multiplies of assest..thought without money can contra and earn..but no matter what the money wont be as much as those have capital...
thats what i try to mean like if u have 100k may be 1-2years u multiply to 400-500k..but those do shorting or buy long without capital wont be able to hold..give them the max will get 100k provided they must have the guts.

btw...to people who wanna retire, new comrade and old comrade! lol...save & trade/invest money from now till 3-5years! don't buy junk stuff... buy necessary stuff is enough..
don't forget there will be a bear cycle..around that period..hope i am right..if you be able to identify which counter recover fastest on 2009 march..prepare yourself for that..will be able to semi retire if you can save up to 100k sgd before the bear kicks in....if you don't understand i believe someone will interpret for me...haha
do home work for 3-5years time..

Fundamental Analysis?
Reading Income statement and Balance sheets can be tedious.
Normally I just let the analysts do all the hard work and I will read their reports
