There a plenty of money to make in the stock market. One has to be daring and always keep on buying.

LoL why? Actually the same thing happened to my father. Lost money during asia financial crisis, but later made it back. My brother invested in a private firm which got listed later on. His shares, bought at a few cents each, is now worth a 100 times more. So I come from a family of daring punters  |

same same i paid a very high school fee during the 2007 crisis and reinvested 20k during end of 2008 and 2009... 2010 2nd half finally i fight back recoupe all and back to 50% profitable of my total capital :)

What I meant was that no matter what a person has learnt in the classroom,
he/she must put the teachings into practice.
But in practice, it is only too easy to forget what has been taught
and instead act contrary to it..

i agree...btw..blade..u compare singapore n us stock. how much do u think a stock can go in singapore?
talke about sph good 1? already stuck at top..alot counters are at their higher end now..
so be well verse in TA and market sentiment...u will be safe and sound to earn decent amount..thats my so call investing.
I am working thats why i never trade...trading is always best to do short selling will be the most easiest..i earn avg 200-300 per day for SS + my full time job :) greed sweep away all my money.

For holding, even buying good counters must also be done at very low prices... And make sure no holding is ever done on a downtrending phase...

Suggest we keep our stop-losses tight just in case.

For holding, even buying good counters must also be done at very low prices...
And make sure no holding is ever done on a downtrending phase...
