Strange.... oil prices shoot up but SPC ends up down.
good luck 2 all holding spc n also 2 those wanting 2 go in. ...may spc make u win $$$$$. cheerio.
Today closed 6.30. Monday & Tuesday close 6.10. Wednesday to Friday cheong...maybe 6.50. I hope lah! Have a gd weekend.
think spc might close at 6.3 to create buffer for monday trade
it will go up....but u need to keep for quite some time...BB make in volumes...not in pricing...even if they make 5cts,its still alot to them becos of the volume they trade....so u gotta follow them....all of us hv high expectation of the shares we buy cos who doesnt wana make big and fast bucks?but reality counts in....better to make a bit but few rounds ea day rather then wait for few days for a big one...which one higher risk?wats the diff then as compared to gambling?
hv closed position today at 6.35...expected a pre-cheong 2day..all factors favour it 2 cheong (sti up 50+pts, dow up 130 pts, px of oil higheset @ 80, hsi up 300+, nikkei up 200+, fed expected to cut rate by 25bps...some hope for 50 bps), instead now below yesterday's closing....dunno whether bb know how 2 make $$$ or not. Anyway no loss 4 me....bght at 6.25
hehehe...your $6.90 no longer holds? SHould retarce back in the coming days. Just watch closely. Oil may go above 80 again.
now can forget this counter, oil goes up...dj goes up...sti goes up (oil highest at 80, dj up 100 plus, sti up 50 pts) but spc goes down...but when sti down spc also goes down n when oil price goes down spc also goes down...wat sort of counter is tis? how then it goes up?...no way hah?
though its fundamentals r strong, still a speculative stock...$6 above still feel not a good buy..anything wrong wif oil price or mart tumble it will go down...me burnt once b4...bought at 6.2,took three 3wks to sell...luckily still managed to make a bit when fed cut pts...nvr dare to touch it unless it hit $6 or below..support level ard 5.8
Oil price go up and share price go down. Oil price go down and share price also go down. This stock should avoid.
Crude oil futures rose USD 18 cents to close at US$80.09 a barrel as hurricane Humberto caused a power outage at a Texas refinery hub. This was the third straight record session for crude oil prices, which has been up 31% YTD.
There are a number of factors that have moved against SPC refining business during Q3. I have already highlighted them before and these factors have continued to deteriorate. Thus future fundamental outlook is negative.
Unless we see major breakthrough from SPC, $9 or even $8 price is very unlikely for the year 2007. For now $7 is still attainable.
$7.00 should not be the target for SPC. I personally value SPC at $9.00. EPS this year SHOULD exceed $1.00. Not demanding if traded at 8 times PE. Cheers to all holders. I am still at sideline, waiting to get back in. It's too volatile now. Holding cash now, and a little punting elsewhere. So SPC, dun leave me out yet!
Still holding onto my SPC too
CKS, good to hear that you are confident with your investment. You will make it. Cheers.
in spite of JBK007 negativism, idesa168, I am really very confident I have made a good investment in SPC... it will touch 7.00 before year end.. i just sit pretty...
People get trick easily by high oil price. For those who knows more they are likely to make smarter move.
OK SPC had break out of the 6.00/6.30 band. Support should be at 6.30. CKS, you must be counting your $$ now...hahaha!
looks like we can hit 6.50 today...
ic....all the best ...hope u be rite...cheers
