OMG. i just realised Olam issued dividends to my cfd a/c, hey i didn't know it can earn div too?!! Jus bought into Olam only a few days ago and i tot try out trade 1st time on cfd since cash trading nds to cough up in full.
tomato yes there'll be more upside just dunno how much left But with your kind of instinct, u'll definitely catch that margin.

Hi Gaecia,
Yes you can hedge using a short position on the same counter.
Conversely, you can also hedge by going long on a counter in another sector that is not affected by forex flunctuations.
But if its me, if I know Golden Agri does not meet expectation for 3Q, I would just sell and run. But its just me, because I am a short-term trader. If you want to go longer term, then its a different story.

buy now, are u kidding? Olam is looking at making a triple top, crossover is bullish but u don't know whether it will test and breakout from the recent 2 peaks, it didn't hold beyond 3.37 if i recall correctly. Pls lookup the charts, you'll understand better. Like is one thing, being rational is another.
Recognise that late arrivals may not be duely rewarded, am learning that too to avoid making mistakes. ie. sembcorp marine i feel its too late to enter nw, just let it set sail then
