Wah... singaporegal you are right.
Venture gap down quite a lot on Wednesday's half day trading.
There's a possibility of this counter continuing its downtrend. Be cautious.
US biz outlook very pessimitic - how can manufacturing do well?
Is anyone here a venture insider? Any news about the business outlook?
Despite the big rally in Euro market, but up to date DJ merely up 24 pts. Asian market going to be a profit taking day tomorrow, owing fear of Euro and US market slump over the weekends.
Short DBS a bit of expensive, SGX may be a better choice, go on line at 0855hrs and beow the jocker. May get some kopi money once Hang Seng open at 10 am. Anyway, trade at your own risk, AK point of view only. Cheers.
sure the momentum will continue!
nobody knows it will rebound that fast, and nobody know if DOW will crash tonight.
and yet, nobody knows SPC actually went down all the way to 5.19 today ....
The price is what you paid ... and the value is what you get.....
The meltdown offers opportunity to pick up some thing at good value with a lower price....
that is fast 33% reboud from low 7.52... impressive.
Big rally today but it may still be too early to say that it has reversed.
Don't bother this no Venture's counter. Lets song song kie Jurong, give the man a tiger. Lunch leow. Meet you all again at 2pm. Cheers,.
still standing high & tall

could it be another Chartered, which falling from $10+ till less than $1?
Wow, $8.65 closing, that's low for this blue chip....
Hi AK_Francis,
Maybe the reason for the fall is that it was thrown out of the STI index? Since it is no longer part of the STI ETFs ?
wah, this is now under 9!!
What a tragic moment for ventures, first being plunged from record high of 17.00 to 12.00 last 8 Jan 08 and now 9++, a record low since last 365 days. And it was thrown out of STI index. It will break D $9 mark soonest. Take care folks.
Wah.... today crash. Yesterday's darling?
I think exchange loss could very well be the theme of coming Q report for all manufacturers or companies doing USD trade. From July to October last year, the USD loss approx. 10% against SGD.
CM in particular usually has 90days term with customer and in worst, customer may want CM to stock up the goods at customer warehse. Will issue PO only when they need the goods.
I had read somewhere that Venture, a contract manufacturing company had a hand in CDO mkt. Now that the CDO mkt is badly bruised in the US mkt, hence Venture will take the brunt.
