You are not correct to say that yzj need money, the selling of shares by this director does not go to the company. lol
The next few days of trading will confirm what is the impact. The question is now who is the buyer? Could it be a fund that is holding less than 5% of shares as this involve millions of dollars.

Reuters poll: The U.S. government debt is less than 10 %
Sina Finance YORK October 1 morning news, according to Reuters starting Friday conducted a survey, most economists believe that the U.S. debt default probability is less than 10%. If the Democrats and Republican lawmakers failed to reach agreement on the budget bill, then the federal government will be partially closed Tuesday morning.
Told Reuters survey of 51 large banks and major research institutions in 40 economists believe that if the U.S. government partially closed on Tuesday, the U.S. government does not pay debts due this month, the possibility of less than a tenth.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack - Lu (Jack Lew) has said that if Congress does not raise the debt ceiling, then the Treasury will not be able to pay 17 October maturing debt.
The remaining eleven economists believe that the U.S. debt default probability greater than 10%, but no one thinks that more than 50%.
Rockwell Global Capital Peter Cardillo, chief market economist, said, " We think the U.S. government the possibility of default is zero, the government temporarily closed no lasting impact on the economy, the impact will not be great." (Ming Yu)
us House-passed budget bill still requires concessions
Sina Finance YORK October 1 morning news the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill Monday night that allows the government prior to the December 15 to maintain normal operations, but will be part of Obama's health care plan pushed back for one year.
The White House has said that if the House of Representatives passed the bill, Obama would veto it. Currently the government closed the distance remaining hours of the deadline.
House of Representatives requested that the Obama health care plan to force individuals to buy the insurance (or pay a fine) to postpone for one year terms.
If congressional Republicans and Democrats can not at midnight (12:00 GMT today) before the agreement on the budget, part of the U.S. government departments will be closed. (Ming Yu)

Change of director does not need to sell or trade Shares over the open market. Yangzijiang need money, all their money is tied up for the Banking application.

not necessary, depend on how you look at it. Yu is a non executive director. selling of all the share may suggest a change in director board or shift in power.About 55,000lots in total sell, who are the buyer?

Announced in SGX after closing today that one of the director, Yu Kebing sold off all him shares (abt 1.4%) today. I wonder is he leaving and who is that buyer? It was worth more than a cool 6 millions dollars.
I sold some before closing today to protect some profit. If $1.09 could not hold for next few days, a deeper collection may come after 2 months of run up. Next support will be at $1.09/1.06/1.00.

Keep clam, friends. We are looking at the mid term wave but not the short term spike. It's prety safe if we buy this stock below the historical average. In long run, it may go up to $2.0. :)
Looks like these past weeks is push up Yangzijiang Shares so he can dump it a better price. So who hop the mountain top?

Seem to be left hand to right hand....Yu kebing acquire from Mediterranean Success Group (which is wholly owned by Yangzijiang Non-Executive Director, Mr. Yu Kebing) , does cause some panic in selling today, streets I talk to denying the married trade, shall know who did it tomorrow. Does not seem much negative in share price but US govt shut down weigh on market sentiment potentially.
