the auditor's statement "existence of a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the group's ability to continue as a going concern" shd not be viewed lightly. I wld probably stay clear till the cloud clears.

The damage is done .. i can see . Wondering whether are they did that with certain intention ? haahaa like why the willing party who absorbed a total of 50,000 lots in three days .... there are of course sellers around but why are people buying in big bulk and cheap price ? haahaaa ... Only time got the answer. Rickmer old like ginger ... ginger taste and smell we all know..
GAME on for me!
unfortunate the damage have been done. it may take along time before ppl will trust the management again. they shld have been more transparent.

u BOMB their email also like tat.. i bombed them b4 i decide to give up.. somemore i hate abt it is if they gt no ans to so many questions when analyst post them them, then why why that stupid Q&A session when all the ans are like"at this moment of time we do not have the ans to your reply, once we got update we will sure announce" - ask = to didnt ask..

They are certainly not unaware of the outcome,but what is their motive?? Discourage investors to dump away their hard earn money. It would be better to make query on them.
Instead of reassurance, Rickmers' newsletter was dedicated to trumpeting their 175 yr history and the art of christening of ships! Granted, the newsletter probably went into print before 2Q09 release, but they could have put in a cover letter. They don't seem to be bothered about their stock price and by extension, US investors!

Yap ...bomb them...Anybody have Media connection? Pay them a visit to be the first Trust in Singapore make into headline. Refer to their presentation state on Feb 09 & Aug 14. First a commitment of " Defer acquisition till market recover" but latter "discussion with stakeholder,bank .. evaluating all possible options for the 4x 13,000TEU vsl?? Expansion approach should be conservative. The Market will always be there what the rush for it?

Agree 110%. Trust your own gut feel. I remain vested. I received Rickmers newsletter together with their DPU notice. I had wished there was some note of reassurance, but nothing. All the same, hope we will see light at the end of the tunnel soon.
they want to buy from u they say bad loh. they want to sell to u they say goood loh. same lah .better do your own judgement no one to blame if not go up high high bank Bxxx. or go down low low also bank Bxxx.. just my view. still vested. hehe
