Thanks lucky168 for being so helpful with your technical advice.  There are many others who don't rely or TA, but just hope that  they will be able to buy at "lelong prices". The growth prospect for SC shd be good with its move into the China market, and the cash payout from GIL.  Think abt that - if SC has got no growth potential or is a "doomed" biz, would SH ( a "shrewd" billionaire) and others invest in SC?  Think abt that - all those ( including the operators)  who bought SC shares are "doomed" or have committed suicide?  Possible?

 

zenki81, i look from a more technical point of view

1) from the chart, SC well supported at current px, so unless it breaks down, then still good to hold

2) hikitty commented abt the cash that GIL gonna to pay for SC 25% stake in IR... maybe you want to wait till GIL announced the value of this 25%? :-P

SC shd be flushed with cash once GIL pay for SC's  25% stake in the IR.  SC will ???? after that - NOT as doomed as those who hoped to be investors at "rock-bottom" prices

So far, the unrealized paper loss is ard $100. Although the lost is quite minimal but I am at loss of what action to take next as the stock price momentum seem to be hovering ard  0.28 and 0.29.



thanks for your posting. As I am relative new to investing, would you mind to explain more details on why you consider the next few months would be exciting? I thought Starcruise would plunge drastically, esp after the stock was halted last week.

Hi, I'm new to investing so would like to seek views and opinions from the experts here.

I bought 2 lots of Starcruise shares at 0.310, given that the outlook for Starcruise is not so optimistic now, so I sell them now to prevent incurring a greater loss from people shorting the stock or should I hold on to them for dividend gain?

 

Play up time coming soon for SC to attract the short sellers - they are most welcome to "kill" SC  to "0" with their might. Might is always right?

 

Big towkays will not make big decisions base on forumers' comments.



But big traders will .....



Base on the postings here ..... seems like there's lots of shortings and probably, many yet to cover shorts ..... and probably, many still add shorts even at this level .....



May be it's time the big traders know that there's lots of shortings for Star Cruise, from it's high 60+++ cts till this level .....



May be it's time the big traders take a contranian approach and make money from the shortings .....



Let's for the bigger picture to unveil .....

 

Oso = wondering will SC bring visiters to hot hot Resort world or not or bring it visiters to cool, cool Genting Highland.

FYI oni: other web site said maybe newspaper is biased, where sand is not mentioning, i think it is oso direct at sand as well.

GIL needed more time to put it house in order, so is SC. U have all the time, i think U have patience enuf to wait till certain px to make it an attractive offer that U can't resist further to enter position thou.. U were hoping STI can fall back to 2,850 support level..

To All concern,

Those who think i am punting, speculating and even shorting has all got the a very wrong impression of me. I am absolutely not vested in any action mentioned above. I am certainly not vested in all of Genting and SC, merely trying to provided some alternate view in response to those who has directed their queation at me.

Acting in good faith. Some how my view is always been seen as very negative to some, to those die hard fan for SC.

IN such case. It would be much better for me to go along and dump all my hard earn living expensive $$$ into mentioned above and take all risk regardless of anything happening by holding on to dear life while the ship is changing it course halfway.

As i has mentioned, here i said again I am not vested and merely stating my alternative view and i am not vested in Genting and SC at all.

Be happy and stay happy with what ever one can think of..and trade happily till U get your fair share is return...hope then coming year end 2007 to those who are vested heavy-ly in it. Show good profit and is in good hand
