This will mean time to soak up this share, 4c is good value in my view.

 

Think so. No synergy between the 2 companies. The only synergy that I can thnk of is Abterra (coal) and Leroi (pork) is BBQ.

The share swap deal with Leroi in HK is OFF! Check out the announcements in SGX. Hope it won't go below 4c. Sigh....

 

30 nov is the new extended date of the share swap with Leroi. However, shareholder's approval is required as informed by MAS and to date, i don't think shareholder's approval has been sought for this. You can read all about this at sgx website.

Hehe, abc has gone back to basic: supply and demand, good clear mind makes good investment. Buffett always say, only invest in business you  understand. Al-la-carte says: Simple logic usually works. complicated logic get you into fuzzy logic and get lost. Vested, collecting more, USD drops, oil goes up, coal will enjoy the ride, dont be fooled by small volume manipulator, when the real investor comes in to invest in coal, whoom you will see this repeating its high jump again.

 

Mine blasts shrink supplies and can create dire shortage which pushes prices to unreasonable high levels benefiting those miners unaffected by the blasts.

Abterra would most likey dip and pick up in due course. Take for example sapphire it is going for 0.015 cents to 0.020 cents. similiary business very cheap presently; should be a better switch temporary.

I have decided to accumulated more shares in the electronic sector.

I believe there should be a pickup in the electronic sector in coming months. One example is charter semicon looks positive. MI tech is moving up, Eucon from red looking more positive in lately.

Another mine blast in china


 

HEGANG - The death toll from a coal mine blast in northeast China has climbed to 104, local authorities said early Monday, according to state media. China's state-run Xinhua news agency said four workers were still trapped in the mine shaft. The explosion early Saturday tore through the state-run mine in Heilongjiang province near the Russian border, one of the largest and oldest in China, after a build-up of gas, survivors said.  The explosion occurred when a total of 528 miners were in the pit, according to a statement by the State Administration of Work Safety. Local news reports said the blast was felt 10 kilometres (six miles) away. The accident was the deadliest of its kind in the energy-hungry nation since an explosion killed 105 miners in Shanxi province in December 2007. "I was with a group of 10 miners.... Right now I don't know if they made it out," mining veteran Fu Maofeng, 48, told the East Asia Trade News from his hospital bed. Miners near the shaft entrance were told to evacuate after gas levels in the mine rose sharply, he told the paper. When he and two others reached the entrance, a huge blast ripped through the main shaft, he said.
