Even with the best technical analysis in the world,
a stock can always fall after one has bought it.
Thus, no matter whether it is TA,
or FA, or whatever super analysis,
it is only a bet at best..
(By the way, I was looking for a flag, but couldn't find it).

Hi.
You will get a different TP if you use a log scale for the price.

Hi, I see noble breakout from its Flag pattern (upper flag at 2.02) and closed at 2.03 with above ave vol. From the measured moves where the climb (from bottom of flag pole to upper end of flag) was 0.46, I see this breakout to hit 2.31 (1.85+0.46) which is measured from bottom of flag plus 0.46.
With this , I am also going to long Noble on Monday to validate my analysis.
I have done up the chart using chartnexus, but i could not attach it in this post.
Disclaimer: I am still new in TA. Please use this as reference and do your own analysis. Tks

Its a great analysis, keep it up!
Just keep in mind Technical Analysis (TA) has to be married with Fundamental Analysis (FA)
So all depends on how great the results is for Noble on Tuesday.

I read this article from Today's newspaper recommending us to buy at $1.95 on 3rd Nov. Typo, analyst target price is $2.42.
"CLSA starts coverage with $2.42 target price, saying the natural resources supply chain group is a proxy to increasing demand for both hard and soft commodities in China and India, with establish footprints in resource-rich and resource-hungry countries. The house tips 22% EPS CAGR for 2010 to 2013. Notes that Noble generates 28% gross profits from agriculture, 51% from energy, 9% from metals and minerals and 12% from logistics. "

Why don't you post the analyst report here, so we can take a look? But yes with QE2, commodities and resource counters are expected to go up. Things like palm oil, corn, cotton, soya beans, wheat, gold, crude oil will go up. Commodities will be one of my main plays.

Analyst actually set target price for noble as $2.48 which is pretty high.
Judging from the current economic status, with commodities prices hitting a new high, Q3 results should be able to beat analyst's estimates.
Am i right? |

Short term maybe 2.15 for noble? I am only aiming for 10 cent upside cos will sell immediately after results release.
