Casino is damn happy if u use this method. Go and calculate. Let say u start with $10 then $20 then $40. Ultimately when u win, u only win $10 There are better methods than this.

UOB Kay Hian in a Nov 1 research report says:
"Indofood Agri Resources’ (IFAR) core net profit declined 20% y-o-y to Rp774 billion in 9M10.
"This was mainly attributable to: (a) lower total sales by 3.8% y-o-y, (b) lower forex gain from Rp250.9 billion in 9M09 to Rp65.4 billion in 9M10 and (c) higher operating expenses. Quarterly net profit increased 26% q-o-q on higher crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernal average selling prices (ASP). Revenue declined 1.8% y-o-y on lower sales volume.
"We lower our earnings forecasts by 18.5% to Rp1,109 billion for 2010 and by 13.0% to Rp1,478 billion for 2011 to factor in lower cooking oil price assumption as well as sales volume due to stiff competition in the domestic cooking oil market. Fair price of $2.65 as we lowered our PE valuation to 13x 2012F PE. DOWNGRADE TO HOLD."
Forex is only one of the 3 reasons. Will GAR be affected by all 3 too?

BT, check with you. when u play overseas market like US and HK.
u open account with bank on different currency or do you keep your currencyy with the securities firm?
or you jus convert back to sgd after each trade that you do?
Anyway just stick to the beow game plan and all will huat !!

Well a game plan could go as follows :
Monday morning buy some Noble.
Wednesday morning, sell Noble, put profits back to GAR
Thursday after lunch break sell GAR
Put profits back to GenSp (Maybe buy some Olam, reporting on same day as GenSp)
Wait for GenSp announcement. |

I am sure many are doing it.
But the problem is,
the moment the break-even point is reached,
people usually still go on betting big (to make money).
Thus repeating the cycle again..

Even with the best technical analysis in the world,
a stock can always fall after one has bought it.
Thus, no matter whether it is TA,
or FA, or whatever super analysis,
it is only a bet at best..
