Overweight | s$1.42
Morgan Stanley maintains rating at Overweight cuts target price to S$1.90 from S$2.60.
It says: “We expect 2011 to be bad with losses peaking in 2Q11 at US$103 million following a delay in the expected (freight) rate hike in June. Higher bunker fuel costs and lower utilisations will also lift operating costs.”
However, MS also says that nearterm negatives provide a good entry point and that NOL is “very wellpositioned for 2012 and beyond”.
There should be good support @

NOL reached 1.35 on 19 Jul and reverted on the day luckily, ant it predicts NOL may fill gaps s$1.64-1.65 & 1.78 & 1.79 then again back to bear.

Attached is the operating performance for the 4 weeks (Period 6) from 4 June 2011 to 1 July 2011.
For the four weeks of P6 2011, container shipping volumes increased 5% while average revenue per FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Unit) fell 13% over the same period last year. The increase in volume was mainly due to higher volumes carried on the Intra-Asia trade. The decline in average revenue per FEU was mainly due to lower rates in the Asia-Europe trade lane.
For P6 YTD 2011, container shipping volumes increased 8% while average revenue per FEU fell by 3%, over P6 YTD 2010 levels.
I am looking at NOL, although not biting er.. buying yet ....
Worst come to worst, all those steel, iron(whatever the ships are made of) do cost something do you think? lol ...

On Tuesday, NOL re-test the support at $1.37 and closed at $1.39 with HIGH volume of 16.41 million shares traded.
A
white candle sticks with long lower shadow similar to “Hammer” affirms
that investors are buying on dip whenever prices go below $1.37
RSI & MACD are turning neutral as MACD lines converge together.
Important Resistance of NOL: $1.45
Immediate Support of NOL: $1.37

Not yet, I've cover most of my shorts, except NOL.
Didn't hit my cover price.
Anyway already made money liao, just more or less only.
Very close to my cover price, almost hit my Cover button just now.

im sorry but im just a cynic when i see these kind of reports frm different so called experts.. When they urge to sell, the prices will go up and vice versa.. Its always like that but not all the time though... and i can also be wrong for this.. hahah..
