Hi pilotfish,
Very nice of you to post the chart of this stock and truely appreciate your time taken to reply. I hve been sideline 2 weeks ago (except bought one counter Genting Int. and later sold off within intra day at 1 bit loss when sensed stock is going to be hit down on that day.)
For those still holding this stock, be assured this is a good stock though, it is high beta. This chart will be a marvellous one to look forward to. For me, if this retreat a little, it acts as a good chance to enter later on or if not, i switch to defensive stock if i must buy something now at this moment. :)
At what price you bought semb marine?
Semb marine is in a bull run now currently in correction mode. Picture is worth a thousand words. see chart.

Take a closer look

Trend should continue after the correction.
Just my view, for sharing and learning, please comment. Learning through critique for improvement. (Not an inducement to trade).

Though, need to be optimistic, but last year's stock plunge is still fresh in memory. We are still hanging on someone's (US) sleeve and its daily performance determines our daily fate, like it or not, it is the way it is ruling the stock market. Sad but true.
P/s - today is trading looks like retail vs brokerage houses?? Where are those big instotution players and big fund gone to?
Dun be so pessimistic. Market correction is part of the cycle.
If market keeps going up, wouldn't it be scarier?
If u are trading in any counter, once reach your target price just sell off - if PVA confirms no more uptrend. Dun wait for that 1 bid higher. It may never come. If u are investing, then u should not be bothered by this kinda market noise. Worst is people claim they are long term investor but keep complaining market downtrend. This counter is strong, if the price drop, DCA will be more appropriate then cutting loss.

Yup, that is the way. Stock move up and down. Just follow the trend.
Time to short we short. Time to long we long. My short term trading strategy.
No hard feeling plesase for those who can't take it. I am also a long term investor for Semb Marine...
Just my view. (Not an inducement to trade).

This is high beta stock and short sellers like it because of its big movement of price and they are super quick to act (to short) when the price gone up substantially. Sometimes, one blink only, the price drop like waterfall. LOL
Hope the bull run for this one will come thru, though, i have sold mine cos my target reached and for those who is stil holding on, positive and patient are a 'key' words since the company is fundamentally sound!

My finding: Semb marine was in a bull run (not bear market rally) and there are some more upwards moves. Semb marine is a strong blue chip component. Just be patient.
Just my view. (Not an inducement to trade).
