Am just glad that I wasnt greedy, got the dividend and earn some profits too.
If i had holding on wishing for 1.8-2, i wld be bleeding now.lol.
At the start of the year, u can see all the analysts' report saying STX is overweight with TP of 2.
Really wonder..where are all these analyst and if they still stick to their stands.
It's gd to not touch now till things are more settled and for the dark cloud blow away...

If you really follow STX OSV, not difficult to notice what you mention...just that a lot did not realise.

be patient... wait for 1.3 before considering entering back.
not that easy to reverse the downward trend.

Good call to stay sideline. it is totally normal for this share to jump 15 cents in 2 days or drop 20 cents in 1 week...now it is hitting up towards 1.465.
My personal view: stay sidelines and wait for CONFIRMED sign to long...
Uncertainties are there... I agree that i will buy from Market if I am the buyer...I have seen the same thing happening NOW to other counters too... I do believe that there is something wrong in the company (forget about the fundamental, things can be hidden)... buyers are procrastinating in purpose, trying to find the lowest price to bid. That's y no NEWS AT ALL.
aiya...may be too late...today will green...tmr have to see sign...mid term still short la :)

I use Poems. CMC no scripts so must monitor cut loss level for poems. Poems have 30 days and will close account when the date is due. Good luck.

This is not yet the bottom...more downside.

At PE 7x 2012.....At $1.00..the PE is at less than 5...
Improving Offshore industry. Increasing charter rates from oil companies for offshore rigs, etc.
STXOSV is the leader in building big size support vessels in the world...especially this year the demand for such OSV is increasing as mentioned by the CEO.
Lets put it this way....If the other OSV builders in Singapore/Malaysia is building Proton, Hyundai, Kia.......STXOSV is the company building Porche, BMW, Benz....
In fact, when we get this news of selling / takeover cleared from the market and if the stock is still traded in SGX....and we go back to the fundamentals...this stock is a Gem.
But fundamental is one thing....There are so many other factors when we buy stocks...especially our own money management....
