If shorting it, i think possible to  take profit at the $1.09 level which is the support.

The $1.14 is a support level too but its weak as it has broken downwards of the tight bollinger bands...
Shorted at 1.18. Good luck.

Good luck.

The bollinger bands had been tight recently and looks like its breaking down on the lower band... looks like going down based on yesterday's and today's close...
Already broken...

Sitting precariously at 1.18. Good luck.

The problems in China stocks market in my view are
1) too much IPO with high P/E (as much as 50 ) and cash calls in the pass that drained out market resources.
2) low or no dividend payout ( currently they have changed the rules to pay out 30% of net)
3) too much insider trading !
4) market driven more by policy than fundamental.
5) index link short selling.
6) untrustable accounts.
7) retail participation completely dry out !

thanks for advise ... bought the minimum amount allowed only, Schroder ISF China Opportunity and Aberdeen China Opportunity.
My friend , accumlate slowly, I guess you must be buying h share which is better than A as it is affected by both US and China sentiments. Currently China A share is almost hopeless to all retails and even funds and is drifting down daily with extremely low volumes ! Most foreign funds take it as a sign to buy in but not knowing well on the set of problems causing such a low stocks price. For long term should be good !

Bro oldbird, I'm buying some china equities through mutual fund for my long term portfolio. Today, it may have formed a double bottom at 2100.
Starting small, and may add up on the way.

You are right for the current china stocks market situations, China gov is trying to lower down the qualifications and quicken the processes to lure in the foreign funds, but that is peanut compare to the markets size ! Currently stocks market is at historical low in term of P/E, if we believe China is still a developing country, then properties and stocks market will still be a good bet for long term investors.
