Is Biosensors a good buy?

Interesting to note that the director Jeffrey Jump and substantial holder Yang Liu recently sold off some shares. Now they have bought back more..... is there something that they know?

We may not need as much luck, just a wee bit more patience :) 

 

Not sure share buyback able to sustain its share price.  It works for short term for sure.  If you have holding power, this counter will come back one day.

My maiden purchase into health products. I am Long on this counter for aging population in Japan and SG and where heart problems are increasing.

People normally more optimistic in biomedical stock

They think it is a sure earn business

 

Worst nightmare of Biosensors holders came true...

when profit was still good, price die die refuse to go up. And when profit turned soft, price tumble like cardboard.   Biggest scam  stock   

 

TA shorting counter from majority of the brokers related group....

Confirmed plus chop and da stamp down trend stock....

DO NOT GO AGAINST THE TREND....

BEWARE OF THE FALLING KNIFE.....

 

 

I bought some stock on friday hopping a rebound but it drop further.

Hope today can rebound

 

Friend halleluyah, I am down $13,000 and still holding this bag of shit. My entry price was $1.48 more than a year ago, thanks to OCBC recommendation with target price of $1.80. It s comforting to know that the Chairman is down $2 million and still holding his bag of shit. 

It's important to get a clear perspective of this stock. Hoping for a takeover is not going to save our skins, not during bad times. We have to hope that Biosensors have a better performance next quarter to bump up the share price. Last quarter's performance may not be good but the reducesd net profit margin at 17% is still higher than most competitors out there. Top line revenue was marginally lower but a small fluctuation is not something to worry about. Biosensors stock price was 1.25 - 1.30 range last May when the sudden outflow of money from Emerging markets caused by the Bernanke scare drove the price down to 1.02. And the last quarter earnings report pushed it further down to the present 0.83. Overall, Biosensors is still a highly profitable company with no debt and a lot of cash. Only worrisome thing is its large $600 million of goodwill asset in the balance sheet.

                                                                                                                                   

Let's pray to Kuan Yin for a better quarter earnings report to draw investors back in so we can jump out.

I agree with riclew. Just hold it. Medical firm sometimes are target of take over.

Don't have to worry so much lah.. It will eventually go back up.. Just wait and collect dividends.. Unless you really need to take out the money..
