ST Engg formed a bullish harami followed by a inverted hammer candlestick formation. Looking poised for a short term technical rebound.

Exactly...

How many people can afford to have huge

sums of money tied up in fallen stocks?

It willl give rise to untold cash flow problems...

Not to mention some may even do the ultimate...

commit suicide (if they average down too big)...  Smiley

completely agree !

Unless have holding power but will lost opportunities as the fund got locked in bear market.

Dollar cost averaging by itself is a

superb investment method, but it is only good

during a bull market, when one can buy on the dips.

In a long bear market, it is a suicidal practice. .. Smiley

Appropriate money cost averaging is one of the way of making money. That is for 100% sure!

Averaging down is a game only for

people who have a lot of money to lose.

It is not for those who can't afford to lose money.

For them, it is better to avoid doing that at all cost

at least until one is expeert in trading... Smiley

krisluke      ( Date: 21-Jun-2011 10:53) Posted:

it is not advisable to do so

Our pivot point is at 2.92.

Our preference: the downside prevails as long as 2.92 is resistance.

Alternative scenario: above 2.92, look for 2.97 and 3.01.

Comment: the RSI is below 30. It could either mean that the stock is in a lasting downtrend or just oversold and therefore bound to retrace (look for bullish divergence in this case). The MACD is negative and below its signalline. The configuration is negative.

Moreover, the stock is trading under bothits 20 and 50 day MA (standing respectively at 2.94 and 3.05).

Finally,Singapore Technologies Eng is trading below its lower daily Bollinger band (standing at 2.84).

Singapore Technologies Eng is currently trading near its52 week low at 2.8 reached on 20/06/11.

Supports and resistances: 2.97 *2.92 **2.89 2.8 last 2.73 2.7 **2.67 *

I am sure you have also noticed many

many other counters have been in the long downtrend,

which doesn't appear to be ending soon... Smiley

Volatile trading if not for their own staffs monthly buying back exercise...

The US dollars remain weak for extended period, this may affect stengg in the bigger pic.

China olso has to rely on us economy.... I doubt their $$ will strengthen (for export)
