Actually, in stocks, even the most diligent homework and researh is not helpful at all...

This is due to human nature. After they have spent a lot of laborious time analysing and researching,

they will tend to be very staunch about their own views - they will think they are sure to be right.

Once they " ngeh-ngeh" think that they are right, they will not cut loss even if losing money.

In other words, they must want to be right, especially after having worked so hard on analysis...

There are some, who don like to do homework (due to lack of time, maybe got light ear) basically just too emotion, thinking their judgement time is often right and or correct. Sometime we win n sometime loss.

I hav another one in CNA mkt talk...

The best thing about stocks is that anyone can do their own analysis and in their own way...

One can use any type of analysis one prefers to arrive at once's final action.

Then if one wins, one can praise oneself for being " gao" (smart)...

But if one loses, one will still be able to blame the market fot not being " guai" (good)... lol... Smiley

(There's always next opportunities, market is as always available 24/7)

There is many, too many kind and type of players -- mainly pessimistic or other type optimistic, plus very greedy n greedy type.

Many try, many fail and yet many paid heavily to learn.

Do oneself a flavour, Do homework n see fit, especially oneself own portfolio.

In any trade, trading don't travel in a straight line, be it in bond, stocks, cash and in any other form of business.

Just balancing value n info on  manage ur own $ &   trading interest in SJ.

Lai lai. Pennies play...penny's play will alway be around, be it in good time and or in bad time, like all others big n small or penny's  stocks, so long  it's not delist.

A solid big, a very good example is F& N soon to be privatized.
