Oic. Thanks Senior.  So it was just the dividends.  In that case, we still have good chance for YZJ to move up since the Captain (boss) is still at the helm to steer the company to further prosperity.  Huat arh!!

Yangzijiang boss donates $750 million to foundation for senior citizens.

Singapore: The founding chairman of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, Ren Yuanlin, has donated US$750m worth of his stocks in the group to Yuanlin Charity Foundation, which helps senior citizens in China. Ren’s donation to the Yuanlin Charity Foundation is believed to be one of the largest made to date by China’s new generation of business magnates. He donated his 27.83 percent shareholding in Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Ltd, which is quoted on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The group was the first privately-owned Chinese enterprise to list on the Singapore exchange and was the first mainland Chinese stock to be offered internationally on the exchange.

Dear oldflyingfox, your statement is right.

YZJ is at this level for some time and volume has been consistently heavy. Only possible explanation is several BBs happen to be accumulating within a narrow band and not wanting the price to go up YET!

Just be patient. When more BBs accumulate and longer the accumulation period has been then the faster it is going to break out.

Market in general is holding well for sometime already so BBs will have limited time left but to push this counter up soon.

I don't think that the chairman has given any shares to the charities, instead he has  given only all the dividend he collected  to them. (in hard cash)

WHAT do u mean by the charities tat are given shares by YZJ's ???

In june I asked my 20plus-yrs-old broker whether he think CMZ a good buy at 55 cts, he replied this is a junk S-chip and will sure crash to 40ish cent 1st before bottoming, but he said CMZ will be able to rise back to 70-75 cts in 3 years time by 2015 when there will be a global rally.

Nabei his wrong call, simi 3 years?! CMZ took a SHORT 3 months to rebound from 55 cts to 75 cts in Sept, and now oredi exceed 75 cts, today at 83-85 cts.

Wasted I bought blue chips instead in June, sian!

It depends on how greedy are the charities that are given the shares by YZJ' big boss.   If they continue selling the shares for cash then it will take some time, buy if they are not strapped for cash and just keep the gift of shares, then it might happen earlier.

whencanchange      ( Date: 11-Oct-2012 20:55) Posted:

Roughly by when you guys think YZJ will rise back to $1.30ish??

I noticed in our local market, strangely once in a while always a strong FA S-chip share price's will be unreasonably pushed down and then later the BBs buy this same S-chip stock to push back to high, happen to 4 GOOD S-chips stocks in the 1st year liao, Yanlord rally from 68 cts to $1.49 CMZ rally from 53 cts to now 85 cts, Midas rally from 27 cts to now 43 cts and now YZJ for no reason was pushed down unreasonablly low levels when other s-chips such as CMZ even keep rising now

Just like in May-June there is actually totally no valid reason for CMZ to fall to 53 cts low, those people that cut loss CMZ at below 60 cts sure very heartpain.

another autopilot at 0.94.

from market depth

any buy volume of support can cover 3 sell volume of resistance. 1 bid line=3 bid lines

i see....thanks.

so theres an autopilot at 0.935 thats been running for a while.

hmm wondering whats the plan

Tomique      ( Date: 11-Oct-2012 16:11) Posted:

It is a computer program doing the replenishing. Nowadays most BBs are using algorithm or algorithmic trading, which is autopilot. You instruct the program to put a buy price and a sell price with certain predetermined volume (no of shares you want queued.)   When the queue (could be buy or sell ones) goes above 500, withdraw until the queue is 500, otherwise if the queue is lesser than 500 add to the queue to make it 500 shares

i would like to ask you some questions

at this time many small trades were sold at 0.935 but the buy vol remains a constant 500

big buy volumes compared to many individual small volumes

it seems the buy at 0.935 is constantly replenishing and fixed at 500

already 1000 lots were sold at that price but it always instantly replenish itself.

what is this observation from your opinion?

Agreed that this is a good company, but BB will always press it until " super undervalue" to flush out all the weak holders before pushing it up again. This is how they caugth the small fishes like us.

The previous low was closed  on 18 May was 0.93, let see whether it will rebound around that price before going long. In other words, if it closed at 0.93 today, Friday closing should be above that before you go in.

But if you are long term investor, then no need to look at the price everyday to affect your emotion. Just buy and keep when it is undervalue, review only  yearly.
