There is a general misconception that all traders

only play on a short-term basis. But this is not so.

There are many experienced traders who are 'term traders'.

They trade only at strategic points. And they frequently

remain out of the market for varying periods of time.

Thus, it is wrong top assume that just because a trader

has assumed a downtrend, he must go short there and then.

Often, the trader merely waits it out for the expected

entry point to be reached to enter a long position.

This analysis is getting very intersting...

For both long-term players as well as term traders.

An proper analysis will indeed provide much

insightful knowledge about stock play... Smiley

Yes, but my paper gain  means increasing in real net % holding of that related listed stock after taking any dilution factors all about its share corporate actions like, placement of shares, bonus and right issue of the company, reversed stock split etc. !

My Win = Conventional meaning to what market's mean about it as I usually do. (redeem my investment holding favourable to my account advantages to my own account and always be happy with the said investment).

des_khor      ( Date: 13-Jun-2011 16:27) Posted:

Are there two types of win too ?

Paper gain and confirm won ?

another

buy at 4.20 hold

drop to 3.00 buy

price reach 4.20 = gain...u are makingm others confused. there are 101 answer... as no one knows the future

or short at 4.20 , price go up 4.60 .. closed , and lost his pants. hahaha

iPunter      ( Date: 13-Jun-2011 16:48) Posted:

Example 1...

In a correctly assumed downtrend -

Bought at 4.20, cut loss at 4.12 (loss = 8c)

            Buy in again at 3.00 and hold . (loss is 8 + 10 = 18c)

Example 2...

Bought at 4.20 and hold and hold

            Buy in again at 3.00 ( loss =$1.20 + 8c =$1.28)
