Unfortunately, 53k of them is temp jobs and all gov sector is negative. Because of this, it seems like their politicians are not on common ground, I dont expect any solution out from their gridlock in near term. Plus yesterday Euro was being downgraded left right center, Monday will most likely be bearish, however its hard to say nowadays, must watch whether this Sunday can they come out any good news from germany and france. So overall, be real careful, good luck.

BTempo " gu shi da ge" around, all will feel more secure... lol...
These days i am not as active as when you are around.....yes, i am keeping as much cash as possible....
yes I am shorting, and I am not as good as you as a trader, I cannot go two directions (long and short)....... those mistakes like SIA/Comfort/SMRT(promising dividend are really mistakes i admit ! i know it is hard to believe) , I am keeping for next rebound and then sell off to minimise the lost..... other positions are all shorts.....except..... too many days of shorting, need collect profits first and short again, when technical rebound might be just nice for many to exit and short again.
Like many others, I wish everyone make money !

Hey epl, happen to drop by and see you are still quite active :) Anyway, 2700 was the critical support point for STI and is convincingly broken today. The situation looks like a bear market from all angles, the only motivation to trade now would be for short positions. To attempt to fish at the bottom and hope for a rebound will be suicidal in my opinion, at least at this moment. As long as there is no convincing news from the Europe bailout of Greece, there will be no reason for a rebound up.
