Hi shplayer
Yes, SC may be losing some time, but NOT all the time. With SC's investment in Macau, SH's investment in SC and its expansion into the China market (plus GIL buying over SC's 25% share in 2nd IR), SC shd turn around as from 2007. Unless SC is on a losing track every year, let us leave it to the operators to nurture it to health - i.e. recover "swee swee". Let them show us that SC is not a "junk" company with NO prospects at all.

Hi iPunter
Thanks for your learned input. Do you mean that the operators by buying at high prices are going to lose forever? Let the operators show us that that reasoning may not always be correct..

shplayer...
That's a valuable observation...
I would say it's "reactive sentimentalism"...
The nature of the investors is such that whenever thers's a rally (market index up, green colour, etc) ...optimism immediately returns.
Such is the nature of the market... :).

Prices move with market sentiments....today, STI is currently up.....but the fundamentals of SC (i.e Loss making) has not changed.
hikitty...
I am very sorry to say this... but the fact is:
All those who bought at the higher prices have already lost money (whether it is just 'paper' or real is not the point).

Hi Hulumas and all
Thanks a million to the operators and investors at large for seeing the growth potential of SC shares. Buy SC shares now when prices are consolidating for investment purpose before they "bolt " away and move rapidly north. Operators who bought at prices higher than today's price - are all of them going to lose?

Hi Hulumas
When the market correction ends, which shd not be too far away, SC shd consolidate. Thanks for sounding optimistic today. Cheer up!

Dear Readers,
Yes, finally, the stock storm was over. I take majority forumers' opinions and have decided holding firm and not to sell instead. Thank you very much for the strong supports!!! I feel very much confident now.
Hi Hulumas
Pse keep your SC shares as your belief that SC has growth potential still holds true. Pse be patient as it shd recover soon with its expansion into the vast China mkt and Macau, and the impending purchase by GIL of its 25% share in the 2nd IR. Coupled with crude oil price coming down from its peak, SC shd be profitable as from 2007 onwards. Sell into strength by then. Three cheers!

My previous comments were derided by some forumers in this thread...so will not comment further, except to say some forumer will feel very let down with your decision.
Too much is at stake in this highly gear counter where one is at risk on such volatile trading patten as px has gone from a low to exterme high and also px swing like a frequencies waves /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\.
Penny stocks is even more a punting stocks unless it is with good basic business model to depend on.......with good dividend to collect
Dear Readers,
I 'll immediately take these proceeds to buy all into Penny stocks, just to taste a big bang!!! If only it will materialize hopefully.

Juz to add on, "A" is some1 buy at that price and volume. "B" is some1 sold at that price and volume. I tink A refer to Ask and B refer to Bid?

Time to pick up SC shares as it appears to be firming up. Waiting for announcement of GIL's buyout of SC's 25% share in the $5.2billion IR - wow, can't imagine SC being "cash rich" after that!
