Dear Victorian
kindly explain what does it means 'no seller quotes in range.....no more stock'
Thanks
oh yea baby, we've hit the psych rerating. upwards from here onward. the storm code reads at 52-53c, fyi. But watch the trend and follow. don't set concrete targets.
surf's up! wheeeeee......bunnie, grinning away now? ;)
Errrr.... what's a storm code?
keke. my dear victorian gege, smiling from ear to ear doesn't even begin to describe it man. half my funds are in EDMI. ;)
back to biz:
EDMI techs: entering a very, very strong rally phase. Vols shot up more than 10x in two days alone (from 276k to 3,600k lots traded). RSI and Williams up, MAcross and MACD showing the beginning of a strong uptrend. (ie, strong buying). Won't use A/D and C/o 'cos these two not accurate for low vol counters like this baby.
Retain my fibo call of 52c for this counter. Not for contra or short term tho. This one's for FA growth. Caveat emptor.
gege, giantlow and whoever else vested:
SMB united techs: crossed buy signal on 22nd mar at 24c. renewed interest in this counter from 19th mar. very healthy vol from 150k then to close of 2.8mil on 23rd.
by fibo, your next nearest upside is 34c. If looking to strike for entry next week, i do not believe you can get it lower than 24c from today's close, assuming general market conditions remain the same. a better bet is 25-25.5c. Altho if me, i'd prob enter direct. elves don't like waiting. haha.
Eeeee Deeee aMmmmmm Iiiiiiiiiii!!!
*wave pom poms*
keke.
muacks.
i'll check smb later for you guys night/weekend.
oh yea, c'mon baby, nicely done. fibo target 52c. FA target 53c.
dovetails. gotta love this baby. keke.
very low volumes, almost stagnent prices leh

Rising on demand from Australasia and Europe EDMI designs and manufactures electronic meters for the electricity
generating and distribution industries. Its products measure the transfer of
electricity between power stations, transmission companies, distributors and
end users such as consumers and industrial companies. Deregulation leads to replacement demand. Deregulation of the electricity
market led to increased competition as consumers are able to choose their
preferred electricity supplier. Many utility companies use innovative tariff
structure to acquire and retain customers. They also analyse usage pattern of
customers through Automatic Meter Reading (AMR). Electronic meters
developed by EDMI have proprietary software that implements changes in
tariff structure and AMR via a range of communication option such as power
line communications (PLC) and GSM/GPRS. Replacing electromechanical
meters with electronic meters enables utilities to compete more effectively. market led to increased competition as consumers are able to choose their

products are three-phase electronic meters for Generation & Transmission
sector, such as MK 6 and MK 10. Financial performance in FY07 will be
driven by new product MK 7, its first single-phase meter targeted at the
volume residential sector. EDMI has already secured order of 40,000 units for
delivery to Energy Australia after MK 7 was certified in Mar 07. New version
with remote disconnect function will start shipping soon. Management expect
shipment volume of 100,000 units/year with demand from Australasia and
Europe. Concurrently, EDMI has started development work on MK 12
targeted at the Generation & Transmission sector for launch in FY08. products are three-phase electronic meters for Generation & Transmission

Thanks Vic, have read thru a few of the recommendations and will keep a few of them under my view list. Basically experience what you have gone thru trying to build my portfolio in a hurry and got badly burnt but managed to salvage the situation with minimum loss.
I am more risk adverse now and basically more prepared during the market downturn. Less greedy and contented with my winning. Waiting for the right opportunity before coming in for more.
Happy investing.
Noted. Am aware of the volatile situation and the high price and valuation place on many stocks. Am looking six months down the road for stocks which present the most promising prospect and probably at a great discount. (Part of doing my homework)
Notice you are a defensive player with holdings promising high yields and low volatility. Great strategy!
Cheers.
Vic,
Thanks for your valuable comments.
Am fully aware that you are vested in both Co. and frankly speaking, love the insight views share by you. By the way, any other potential recommendations?
Thanks to share.
Ops line drop off, my apology.
As I was about to state, doesn't this made SMB a safer and better bet:-
1. Lower price and higher dividend yield as compared to EDMI.
2. Benefit derive from contribution from EDMI.
3. Growth potential from its China's partnership
Or should I plainly put it, Growth (EDMI) vs Value + Growth (SMB).
Cheers.
Vic, thanks for the clarifucation. In between, doen't this made SMB a safer and better bet?
1.Lower
Hi Vic,
Needs clarification on how "decoupling" of EDMI's financial from SMB will result to dishing out dividend in species of EDMI to SMB. Don't understand this point.
Thanks in advance.
