i'm also banking on BBR to have good potential next yr.....both BBR and Yongnam cheap cheap stocks!!!

 

anyway, for most of the steel structure buildings or civil engineering works, yongnam usually has a slice of pie. therefore, i would think that doe the new MRT Downtown Extension project, they will also get at least one of the stations.

the next yr beginning, their fabrication factory in abu dhabi will start operations, supported by ST Electronics..

If you read the core business and strength of this company, they are specialise is structure steel, past project include the Suntec City Convention (steel structure of roof), the new Naional Library and the SMU (Roof) etc. Thus, I strongly believe that the 2 IR's project, this company get for the structure of roof and others is pretty high. FYI.

If you read this forum, as I posted on 2nd Oct here about YongNam's lawsuit against UOB. As I guess, they really win this lawsuit. Do anyone know hw much is worth when they released the 23rd storey of office space to YongNam, let me told you, if I remember carefully and correct, the whole floor is now worth around S$39m to S$44m estimated figured, correct me if I m wrong !

Announcement of win against UOB is good news......... but it would have been better if it was an announcement that it has secured the steel works contract for some major project like the Marina IR or the Orchard Turn Mall. That will give the price another upward impetus.

 

Rose on legal action taken by its subsidiaries, Yongnam Development Pte Ltd and Yongnam Enginnering & Construction (Pte) Ltd against UOB.

 

Hi zujzuj, although you missed making profit the 2nd round, at least you made some profit earlier. Also, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for starting this topic as  I also made a handsome profit.  In fact, the profit I made from this counter is very good compared to my other trades.
