BB also want to buy as cheap as possible, right?

risktaker      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 20:10) Posted:

Genting will still rally up testing $1.4 - $1.6 range. No doubt when opening tomorrow "Contra players / Weak holders / Shorters" Will start shorting it down or selling down. Do you think BB that holding Genting will let it people dump this baby ?

Buyer = HUAT 8888

Shorters/ Sellers = AiWan la

Eventually the price will fall back to $0.80 before it start to go up again.

Genting is already in an overbought position!  If there is anything unusual, its rise is possibly due to some syndicated buying by the 'traders'.  Just think: What are the fundamentals, in the short term, to entice more accumulations of this counter?  In the absence of positive fundamentals, people are buying on sentiments and this is risky!

bro your concern is mine also, Genting is making loss, not in operation yet & facing increased cost issue, all these are negative news!! but now i can only cross my finger & hope for the best, since I have poured in my $.

Upbeat economy? You're joking right?
Anyways, why would anyone invest in Genting after this news is beyond me. Its a LOSS MAKING company trading at over $1. People keep talking about how there are more upsides. What upsides?!?
Gambling license has already been priced in and we are currently in a worldwide RECESSION. Good luck to all vested and don't get burned

I thk likewise. People now who does not of round off of 5 lots, will go in to assembled sets of 5 to get the right. Genting SP is a speculative stock, unlike others. Gamble stock maybe. To be frank, my guts tell me Genting will progress up some more..... The situation will be different is the right is issue 5 for 1 hold. If like this, sure goes down.

ljkeong      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 19:17) Posted:

Most of the time price will fall. No more good reasons to push the price up. Time to sell and realize the profit first.

PeterChong      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 18:57) Posted:

First of all, we need to ask ourself why the price rise so fast since 2nd of Sept to what it was yesterday? Now that we already got the answer, we should ask if it will hold and what should be the actually price for this moment?? Will see tomorrow......good luck

Let me ask you a question do you think at this current price Genting rights is attractive enough for people to buy ? Rights at $0.80 a whooping $0.39 discount from $1.19. People will be chasing after the rights because of this upbeat economy.

TP will still within the range of: $1.4 - $1.6

HOLD/BUY = It will be pay off well

1, 000 share (own) for 200 share (right)

5,000 share (5 lots) for 1,000 share (1 lot)

If U bot 5,000 shares at $1.19 ct = $5,590, plus right for 1,000 share = 6,000 share, which is = $5,950+800 = 6,750 divide by 6 = ans (that will be ur average price per 1,000 share

I'm new here. Need help from you guys.

I'm holding 5 lots of shares now, so I'm entitled to 1 lot of R. Does that mean that I've to pay $800 for this lot. How's the process like?

You already got 2 lots, if you don't sell this 2 lots, you are entitle to 400R, you can subscribe to excess R, The no. of Excess R allocated is depends on the market responses...

Althernatively, you can sell you R, once it is allocated to you ..

Good Luck!!!

kuang3      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 17:21) Posted:

so bro meaning the next lot i buy, i will enjoy 400 shares at 80cents and the balance of 600 shares@market price?

i think this assumption is wrong, can you advise?

KIMPEK      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 17:03) Posted:

You will entitle 400 R, because every 5 shares entitle 1 , therefore 2000/5 = 400 R

bro does that means that the 2 lots i bought earlier is considered entitled, all I need to do is to buy additional 3 lots tomorrow to get entitled for 1000 shares of R?

AK_Francis      ( Date: 09-Sep-2009 17:29) Posted:

Right issue: 1R:5H

>holding 1 lot, will hv 200shares of R. Normally, there r odd lots for trading for G SP. Its unlike those 1:1 R issue offer. Henceforth, likely 2morrow u will see something like Gent SP200 just below d mother share Gent SP. Meaning if u buy 1 lot of Gent SP200, u will be given 200shares with cost of $160.00. If your entitlement is 400shares of R, then u buy 3 lots of Gent SP200 of 600shares to round up your CDP holding of previous 400 shares loh, as 1 thousand share. Finally ds 1 thousand share will merge with d mother share, as would be reflected in your CDP acct.

>get advantage of the R issue. If u r given say 5 lots of R, then double d excess R, ie 10lots of excess R, trying luck loh, esp d R is under subscrib. But even d R r fully subscribed, coy will give u few odd lots R as consolation to d die heart clients one.

Cheers.
